*10 Days Later; June 27th*
The past ten days have been nuts. We did shows for six days straight, and then we had a day off in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Then we had three more shows. And guess where we are today? We're home! Jackson, Mississippi. It's Saturday, June 27th, and about half done the tour. We'd stayed up all night, because we were so excited about seeing our family again. It's weird that the girls haven't seen their families in, like, twenty-five days. Man, this month went by so fast. I talked to my sisters, and arranged to get them front row tickets to the show tonight. And we talked to Aaron and he can't wait to meet my little sisters.
As our big bus pulled into the Jackson Arena parking lots, our hearts starting pounding. Well, mine did. I think the girls' did too. As for the guys, they didn't think being home was any different than any other day. Their parents were killed when they young, and their little brother was taken away from them. They hate talking about it.
"I can't believe we're home!" Joey yelled.
"I wanna go see my mom!" Marce screaming, pushing to the front of the bus. We'd all told our parents to be at the arena by 8am. We all knew they would be.
We got off the bus together. I was holding Fox's hand tight. Joey was first, but close behind was Cher, Marce and Dare. Luke and Tony weren't far behind them. Fox and I were just walking. Sure, I wanted to see my parents and my sisters, but I really wanted to spend more time with Fox. I knew I wouldn't get any time alone with him today.
"AHHHHH!" Joey shreiked as she ran into the lobby of the arena, and into her mother's arms.
"JOEY!" her little brother Victor yelled to her, as she swung him around, in her arms.
"Vic, I missed ya buddy!" Joey replied happily.
"Mommy!" Marce screamed and hugged her mom tightly.
"Oh, Marcella!" her mom replied, as she started crying happily.
"Darron!" Dare's sisters called to her, as she ran in. She ran to them and fell into their arms happily. She and her sisters had always been close. Then she turned to her parents, and hugged them too.
Cher and Jamal walked in together. They knew no one would be waiting for them. But they didn't care. Jamal put his arm lovingly around Cher's shoulders. They missed their family alot, of course, but they loved what they were doing. They didn't want anything to ruin their happiness.
As Fox and I walked in, slowly, my face lit up once again as I saw my sisters waiting impatiently. I smiled at Fox, and he nodded. I dropped his hand and ran to my sisters.
"Fay! You're back!" Abbie yelled. I hugged them both together.
"We missed you, Fay!" Andie agreed.
"I missed you too, both of you. How you are, Andie?" I asked her. She nodded, grinning.
"I'm all better, practically." she smiled. Then I looked up at my parents, and hugged them both.
Once our little "family reunions" were over, it was about 8:30am. We knew that the other buses would be arriving here really soon. We sat down with our families and talked alot, until we saw another bus arrive. I looked at my watch, it was 8:45am.
"It's Christina's bus!" Cher yelled, jumping up.
"Christina Aguilera?" Joey's brother Victor asked. He loved her so much. And he was only 7-years-old!
"Yeah... remember, Vic, try to act normal." Joey told her brother jokingly. She knew he'd freak out the second that she came in.
Cher ran outside and came back in a few minutes later with Christina Agularia, a large black man, and a tall guy. I knew that the black man was Gerard, one her many bodyguards, and the other guy was Georgie, her boyfriend, and dancer.
"Oh my Gawd, oh my Gawd!" Victor yelled, jumping onto his feet.
"Christina, this is Victor, Joey's little brother." Cher introduced him to her first. Victor couldn't find his voice to speak.
"Hey Victor, how old are you?" she asked him sweetly.
"Uh..." he began, looking at up Joey quickly. "Yeah... I'm seven." he said cutely.
"Awesome, it's nice to meet you." she finished, holding out her hand to him. He shook it gently, like he was going to break her.
"You... you too." he finished, with a stutter.
"And these are Dare's sisters, Riley and Karley." Cher continued, pointing to them. They smiled faintly at her. They didn't care about her at all. They were waiting to meet the Backstreet Boys.
"Nice to meet you, girls." Christina nodded at them.
"Yeah, you too." Karley spoke up, nudging Riley. Riley just nodded again.
"And... lastly, these are Fay's sisters, Andie and Abbie." Cher finished, as my sister jumped up out of their chairs.
"We have both your cd and your Christmas cd." Abbie stated proudly.
"Yeah, we really like your music!" Andie added.
"Thanks." Christina smiled at me. I smiled back.
She looked like she wanted to go back to sleep. But she was really nice, and she was about to go outside and meet some of the crazy fans that were waiting for the buses to arrive.
"I hope I get to see you all more, um, I have to go outside to meet more fans and stuff... so I'll see you girls later, alright?" she asked sweetly. Man, she was just so nice. The five of us nodded at her, and then she turned around again. She grabbed Georgie's hand as they left the arena once again.
*Almost An Hour Later*
We all stayed in the arena, the whole time. Christina was still outside meeting fans and signing autographs. We were still waiting in the lobby with our families. A third bus pulled into the parking lot. I smiled at Joey. We knew whose it was. Backstreet Boys.
"Whose bus is that, Joey?" Victor asked curiously.
"Backstreet Boys..." Joey mumbled.
Dare's sisters jumped up excitedly. They were obsessive BSB fans. I mean, crazy. They'd loved them for about five years now. They'd been to a few BSB concerts already, but they hadn't met them yet. So, in a way, they were "using" Dare to get to the Backstreet Boys. Dare didn't mind though.
We all waited for a few more minutes before the guys came in. Nick and Brian were first, with a bodyguard.
"GIRLS!" Nick yelled, and ran towards us. He reached me first, and hugged me. Man, it'd only been a few hours since I'd last seen him. Fox smiled at Nick and said 'hey'. Nick and Brian hugged us all and we introduced them to all our families. Riley and Karley were fairly calm, surprisingly.
Next Kevin, Kristin, AJ and a bodyguard came in. We did the same thing that we did with Nick and Brian. And lastly Howie and two more men came in. I knew one was Jeff, from their management. We introduced Howie to everyone, too.
"Aaron's bus left late last night, they should be here in like half an hour." Nick explained, smiling at me again. I looked at my sisters and saw the excitement in their eyes.
"We're going over to McDonald's for breakfast, anyone want to come?" AJ asked us. Dare looked at her sisters evilly. But she was joking.
"I promised Aaron I'd stay here and wait for him." Joey said. I nodded.
"Yeah, me and my sisters are waiting for Aaron, too." I agreed.
"I'll come, I ain't doing anything." Cher smiled at AJ, and went to stand with them.
"I'd come... but I told Stephan I'd wait for him... too." Marce said shyly. Her and Stephan had become really good friends. I mean really good friends. Marce turned to her mom and said, "You can go home, if you want, we're going to be here for a few more hours. Thank you so much for coming, I love you."
"Ok, Marce, I love you too. Come home whenever you can." her mom replied. Then she left a few minutes later.
"What about you, Dare? You wanna come?" Brian asked Dare quickly, before they left. She thought for a second, but came to a quick conclusion.
"I would, too, but I wanna get over to my boyfriend's house right away." she told them. They all nodded, and left the arena minutes later.
Dare said goodbye to her sisters, her parents and us, and then she left to go over to Kent's. Her mom had driven her car to the arena, and her dad and sisters went in their van. So her family all left in the van together, and Dare left in her car. She told us she'd be back here at the arena by noon, when we all had to meet again. Then we were on our way to our first American photo shoot until 2pm. Then we had our second radio interview. But this one was going to be alot different. Everyone in Jackson knew about us. And we knew all the DJs. The interview was to talk about the release of our single Here To Stay, which is out in stores TODAY!
Anyway, Joey's parents and brother left not too long after. For the next twenty minutes, Joey, Marce, our dancers, me, my sisters and my parents waited impatiently for the Carter bus to arrive.
