Chapter Fifty-Two:
I Promise

"Fox-" I started, but he cut me off.

"Don't say anything yet." he told me, handing the box to me. I held it in my hand for practically a minute before opening it slowly.

What I saw was amazing. It was the most beautiful ring I'd ever seen. It had three diamonds in the middle and it shone so perfectly. I gasped and just about dropped it out of my hands. I closed my eyes and leaned back.

"Fay...? What's wrong, don't you like it?" he asked me quickly. I sat up again and opened my eyes. I just stared into his deep brown eyes for a moment.

"No, Fox, I love it... but... what's it for...? It's not for...?" I asked him, thinking about how I should say it. He caught on and let out a laugh.

"Marriage?" he asked me, and I half-nodded. "No, of course not. I know we're too young for that. I just thought... I mean, we were at this really fancy jewlery store downtown, and I saw it, and I knew you'd love it." he told me. I sighed, and just stared at the ring.

"I love it... I love you." I told him. I took it out of the case carefully, like I was going to break it. I looked at it and saw that something was engraved on the inside. I read it carefully and closely. Suddenly I felt tears in my eyes. I was about to start bawling. "Oh my god, Fox..." I finished.

He smiled adorablely. He knew I'd love what he got engraved. It said,

Fay, I'll love you forever. Love Fox.

It was so simple, yet perfect. He couldn't have done anything sweeter than this. I wiped away the tears quickly as they streamed down my cheeks.

"It's a promise ring, baby. Just promise me you'll always love me. Forever." he stated, as he wrapped his strong arms around my body. All I could do was nod.

"I... I will, Fox. I promise." I replied after a minute. Then I slipped the ring onto my finger. It fit perfect. How the hell did he know me that well?

Neither of us had to say anything else. He just held me tight in his arms for the rest of the drive to the stadium.

*Infront of us; Same Time*

"I wonder what Fox and Fay are doing?" Joey asked everyone, looking right at Tony and Luke.

"We're not... supposed to say anything." Tony laughed, knowing they were going to tell them about the ring.

"About what? What?" Cher asked, wanting to know.

"Fox bought Fay a ring while we were out today." Luke blurted out.

"He did what? What kind of ring?" Dare asked.

"It's beautiful. That's all I'll say." Nonny spoke up.

"Yeah, it was huge." Nicole agreed.

"For what?" Marce asked.

"Nothing. Just 'cause he loves her." Tony laughed. "I can't believe how whipped he is."

"He's not whipped, he's seriously in love." Joey told him, hitting his arm playfully.

"How much did Fox pay for the ring?" Aaron wanted to know.

"We don't know. He made us leave when he was paying for it." Luke laughed. "And he got something engraved inside it, but he wouldn't tell us what."

"Wow, he must have spent alot on it." Marce sighed. But then she looked up and saw Stephan smiling at her. She just smiled right back.

*Just A Few Minutes Later*

The limo driver came around to the other side to open the doors. He opened the back door first, and found me asleep in Fox's arms.

"Sorry Sir..." he said to Fox.

"It's alright. Thank you." Fox replied, shaking me to wake me up. Then the door closed again. "Fay, sweetie, wake up. We're at the stadium." he whispered to me.

I sat up, thinking the ring situation was all a dream. I looked down at my hand and blinked twice when I saw it still there, on my finger. I just smiled to myself.

"Was I sleeping long?" I asked him, stretching my arms.

"No, just a few minutes. Let's go." he finished, and opened the door again.

When we stepped out of the limo, everyone was standing there waiting for us. And Mike, one of Aaron's bodyguards, was also there, to meet us and take us inside. Everyone was quiet while we walked in, and I wondered if they knew about the ring. When we got backstage, we said goodbye to Aaron, who had to get ready for his soundcheck right away. He and his dancers left us alone in our dressing room a minute later. Just me, Joey, Dare, Marce, Tony, Luke and Fox. Cher had taken off to find Christina.

"So..." Joey started, breaking the silence. "Fay, let us see this ring."

"Who the hell told you?" Fox just about screamed, holding my hand tight. The girls looked at Luke. "I told you not to tell them yet." Fox continued.

"It's ok, baby..." I calmed Fox. Then I stood up and went to the other couch, where Joey, Marce and Dare were sitting. I sat in the middle and held out my hand.

Marce held her hand over her eyes jokingly and said, "Shit, I think I'm blind. That thing is bright."

I giggled, glancing across at Fox, who was also grinning. I was too happy to put into words.

"Yeah, that's wicked. You are the best boyfriend in the world, Fox." Joey continued, praising Fox. He smiled back at her, not knowing what to say.

"I had to find some way to show her I loved her as much as I do." he answered, looking at his hands.

"Wow, I wish Kent would do something like that." Dare said, still amazed by my ring.

All I could do was nod. I knew I had the perfect boyfriend. The most loving boyfriend. He was all mine, and he always would be.

*The Entertainment Room; Same Time*

"Hey, Chris, guess what Fox did?" Cher asked Christina, practically whispering, just incase someone else was in the room.

"What?" she asked back, knowing it was good news.

"He went out a bought this huge, expensive ring for Fay, this morning." Cher replied, not able to keep her voice down.

"Really? What for? What does it look like?" Christina asked, interested.

"It's kind of a secret or something, I'm not sure. And I didn't see it, but Tony, Luke and Aaron's dancers told us about it." Cher replied. She knew she shouldn't be talking about it, since she really didn't know much about the situation.

"Wow... do you think he's going to propose to her?" Christina asked excitedly.

Before they said anything else, Mark, from Rowdy, who had been in the room at the time, hurried out of the entertainment room. He had gossip and he had to tell someone.

"I don't know. I don't think so." Cher replied. "But promise you won't tell anyone else about it?" she asked.

"Of course. I promise." Christina replied sincerely.

*Rowdy's Dressing Room; Same Time*

"Guys!" Mark yelled as he stormed into their dressing room. "Guess what I just heard?"

"What?" Fuller asked him, annoyed by Mark's entrance.

"Fox bought Fay a huge, expensive ring and he's going to propose to her!" Mark yelled.

Fuller, Seth and Jay all looked up from what they were doing, shocked.

"Are you sure? Where'd you hear that?" Seth asked. He still kinda liked me, everyone could tell.

"Cher told Christina." Mark said with a smile.

"Oh man, that is awesome! They are so cute together!" Fuller smiled. He and our dancers were getting alone really well so far.

"Do you think we should tell anyone?" Jay wondered.

"No, probably not. Everyone has to promise not to say anything." Mark finished.

"Promise." the other three guys said in unison.
