We all heard the crowd screaming, even though they didn't know who we were. They were just excited to be there. I heard that the price of tickets were up to $300, for good seats. I thought that was so crazy. But I guess people really loved the Backstreet Boys, and Christina Agularia. We still hadn't met the other new group, but I knew we would soon enough, since they were on right after us.
Anyway, we got into our positions, which was Joey right in the middle with Tony behind her, and the rest of us girls made a circle around them. Fox and Luke were kind of behind the circle. The only sound heard was the shrieks and squeals and fans. When the lights shot on, and the drum beat begun, I yelled,
"Hello Orlando! We are Cruel Sensation, one of the two new groups on the tour."
"Yeah, and this is our first time to Orlando, so thanks for making us feel so comfortable." Cher yelled.
"As you heard before, we are the opening act of the tour, and we'll be performing three songs!" Dare said.
"They are all from our new album, due out later this year." Joey said, with a slight laugh. She was amazed by the screams and hollars, and yes, it made her feel good.
"We hope you enjoy it!" Marce finished.
Then the music for What Did I Say played. Cher started the first verse off with so much energy and perfection it almost made me sick. No doubt, I was still worrying about my little situation with Fox. When the chourus came, the boys felt to the floor (part of the dance) and I jumped over Tony, Marce jumped over Luke and Joey leaped over Fox cutely. The crowd cheered and it even made me feel good. The second verse was sung by Joey. Her awesome voice boomed through the speakers so loud, that she had to pull the mic back a bit from her mouth. She giggled and continued. The ending of the song, we all took one large leap forward and threw our hands in the air. Alright, it doesn't sound that cool, but if you were at the show, you'd have cheered as loud as the crowd did. We did it almost perfect, I'll say 99%. The crowd went nuts. We took our first bow and thanked the audience. Then the stage was dark again, hell, I couldn't even see Fox, even though I was pretty sure was right next to me. The next two songs were just as good as the first, if not better. I don't want to sound consieded, but I was proud of us.
"Thank you so much, Orlando! You guys are great, I hope too see you real soon!" Joey screamed. It was supposed to be Cher that said it, but Joey was just too hyper, she couldn't stop herself. I hugged Joey and we ran off stage together, with everyone else not far behind.
To our surprise, it wasn't Jamal or Jimmy or Trevor that greeted us as we ran off, it was Aaron and Nick.
"Girls, you kicked ass out there!" Nick yelled, hugging me right away. I could tell he was serious, not just trying to make us feel good.
"Yeah... you were awesome! Too bad Rowdy has to follow you, you're gonna be a hard set to follow." Aaron told us.
"Rowdy?" the five of us asked, guessing that was the new boy group that was following our act.
"Jay, Mark, Seth and... oh um... Fuller." Aaron explained, taking a guess at their names.
But before anyone could say anything else, four young guys, maybe our age, kinda pushed by us and turned around.
"Hey ladies... you were great!" one of them told us.
"Thanks..." Dare spoke to them first.
"We're Rowdy... nice to finally meet you, we've been waiting for this all day." another guys said.
"Really? Cool..." Joey replied, not knowing if they were being sinciere.
"We've gotta go on, see you fine ladies after the show." a third guy said with a sly grin.
"See ya..." Dare finished, watching them leave. When they were totally gone, she whispered, "I don't like them at all."
"Me neither. They kinda seem like snobs." I agreed.
"Well... let's not say anything too bad, we don't even know them yet." Cher told Dare and I.
But Aaron stopped her, "Well I know them, I talked to them for awhile... they treated me like a little kid!" he yelled, "I don't like them either."
"Aaron, don't be rude... let's leave the girls alone so they can shower..." Nick grinned, looking only at me. I kinda smiled back.
"Alright, bye girls." Aaron giggled, and hugged Joey before the two brothers left. When they were gone, I smiled and said to Joey,
"Ahhh, Aaron's got a crush on you!"
"No he doesn't... we're friends." she said defensively.
"Yeah he does, we can all tell." Cher agreed.
"Oh man, that's so cute." Joey finished, "But what about you, Fay?" she asked me.
"What about me?" I wondered.
"Um..." she said, glancing around, making sure noone else would hear, "Nick has a crush on you."
"Arrgh, thanks for reminding me, Joe." I said sarcastically. "I don't know what I'm going to do." I replied.
"First, let's go to our dressing room." Marce suggested.
When we were in our dressing room, we locked the door and plopped down on the couches. I let out a sigh. This was supposed to be our funnest summer of our lives, getting to do what we loved most, perform. But now I was worrying myself because of Fox, who I loved like my brother, and he was mad at me, and Nick, who I barely know. Argh.
"So, Fay... I think you should talk to Fox..." Cher brought of the subject again.
"I will... I'm gonna shower, and then I'll go find him." I replied with a sigh. I wasn't looking forward to what he had to say.
"Well there's only three showers in here, so you and me can shower... and who else?" Dare asked.
"I want to." Marce said.
"Ok, we'll just hang out til you're done." Joey giggled.
Then Marce, Dare and I went into the three different showers.
*20 Minutes Later*
It was just after 9pm when I was done in the shower. I went back to the dressing room, but no one was around. I guess they had all showered and went to watch the rest of the performances. I wanted to go watch too, but I knew I had to go talk to Fox first. I left the dressing room and looked around for a few minutes, trying to spot him. There was lots of people backstage, and I was beginning to think I was lost.
"Oh man, just what I need." I sighed. I stopped and looked around. I didn't see anyone I knew. Just a bunch of stage people but none of the performers. Suddenly I heard,
"Hey, Fay!"
I turned around quickly and saw Nick jogging toward me. I sighed again. It's not that I didn't want to see him, but just not now.
"Oh hey Nick." I replied. He hugged me when he got closer.
"You look a little lost." he laughed.
"Yeah, I think I am." I said.
"Who are you looking for?" he wondered.
"My dancers." I half lied. I was actually only looking for one.
"Oh, sorry, I haven't seen them." he said.
"That's alright. So... when are you guys on?" I asked him, totally changing the subject.
"After Aaron, at about 10pm. Aaron 's on in a few minutes. We were actually supposed to be getting ready, but I came to see you." he grinned. Man, that smile was killing me.
"Oh cool... I'll be sure to watch Aaron... and you." I flirted a little. "I bet my dancers are with the girls, who are probably with Aaron. I'm going to go find them." I said.
"I'll come with you." he said.
So the two of us walked around for about two minutes. Then we found Joey and Aaron jumping around. They looked so cute.
"Joe, where's the girls?" I asked them.
"They're around. I think they went to talk to soulDecision." she giggled.
"Do you know where the guys are?" I asked, practically desperate to find Fox.
"Tony and Luke went with the girls, but I'm pretty sure Fox went to our dressing room alone." she smiled at me.
"Thanks." I told her. Perfect. I told myself.
"Oh, Nick, I'm going to talk to Fox, I'll see ya later, ok?" I asked Nick. He gave me a sad look.
"Alright." he said.
I started walking away, but glanced back and found Nick watching me leave. He looked so hot. Like usual, I guess. I kept walking and found our dressing room in less than a minute. I knocked on the door, just incase he was sleeping or something. But he answered it right away.
"Fox... we need to talk, can I come in?" I asked him.
"It's your dressing room." he replied, letting me in. I locked the door behind me.
Then we both sat down on the couch. I looked into his awesome chocolate brown eyes. Then I glanced at his big, adorable lips. Man, I wanted to kiss him. But I couldn't, I knew I couldn't. Neither of us spoke for a few minutes, until he broke the silence,
"What do we need to talk about?"
