| IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT I ANNOUNCE THAT DEADGIRL IS NO LONGER TOGETHER |
Update by: Nel-e Kel-e This is an update I thought I would never have to write, but this last year the remaining members of Deadgirl chose to pursue other projects, which took the focus and eventually the interest of being in what I felt was the single best GLAM rock band the world had to offer. I hope that one day, Deadgirl will once again be the reigning glam rock band on the scene. Deadgirl’s CD “Deadgirl Does Hollywood" will still be available from this site. Later on I will be releasing a CD-ROM of the history of the band with mpgs, mp3s lyrics and more, as well as a DVD of various live performances from 1996 to present. For now I will continue my solo project (www.angelfire.com/rock/nelekele) and my other project named Nk2.Even though I will not be updating either page, I will continue to write and record. There will be a new solo record later this year with some Deadgirl material that was never released and some that was never even performed, along with some material not suited for Deadgirl.
I would like to especially thank all the fans that wrote to the band, and showed up to every show, even helped hand out flyers. I will cherish you all!

As most of you might already know, we lost the greatest race car driver to a wreck in the Daytona 500 on Sunday February 18, 2001. My heart goes out to the Earnhardt family. Being a long time Dale fan I am not only shocked and in denial, but also heartbroken. Dale truly was NASCAR personafied. Stock car racing will never ever be the same. I am espeically sorry for the very young fans who will never understand why their hero was suddenly taken away from them.

As our fans
that have been with us for a while will confirm, we have been performing a
song called "Movie Star" since early 1997. Its definitely a set favorite, but now
all of the sudden, Motley Crue has a song on their new album called
"Porno Star" of which happens to be in the same key, and has a very very
similar intro, chorus, ending, and not to mention, the content! ( I guess having
Randy Castillo taping a Deadgirl show played no part in this coincidence!)
