Fetal Genius; morose metal swarmed in musical hysteria. The band got its start as two enemies found common ground as a songwriting team. Add in Nate on pods, Curt on the pain device, Jeni functioning as the bottom feeder, mixed with Kroe’s screams of torment and Buzzz’s hands on the umbilical chords, they have discovered the talent that unites them as friends.
Originally formed as a heavy interpretation of grunge, they have now severed ties from the standard metal and grunge cliché. The rebirth of Fetal Genius occurred in 2000 after a short absence due to disagreements in the original band.
Fetal Genius quickly adopted many fans with the release of their debut EP (Duress, 2001) and LP (Beautifully Feeble Eat The Meek, 2003). The band is focused on the future with high hopes and fierce determination
