September 2, 2001 - Tour to start in Oct.
The boys will hit the road starting October 17 on the East Coast. No dates or places have been annouced as of yet. In the mean time GC is busy with radio interviews and another trip to Australia [this time with the whole band.]

August 20, 2001 - Aussie Motivation Single
If you haven't heard, GC has released an Australian single for "The Motivation Proclamation", with a cover of the 80's hit "If You leave". [Which will also be on the soundtrack to the upcoming "Not A Teen Movie"] You can listen to the song and view a complete discography here

Ryan on Aaron's Departure [Taken from Wakefield MB.]
"Ok, Ive been reading all of your thoughts on our and GCs sites concerning the whole issue. Everyone listen very carfully. Aarons leaving good charlotte was not all of aarons decission. Aaron and goodcharlotte have been talking about aarons departure for several weeks now, so aaron didnt just up and leave. People are idiots to think that aaron left GC for wakefield. There were many other circumstances. So please dont get upset over this whole thing, aaron even tought the other drummer the songs before he left. That just goes to show that aaron didnt leave goodcharlotte short. If anything it was the hardest thing that aaron has ever had to do. And as far as mark goes, As we have said before we love mark very much and we want the best for him, but there were circumstances with mark that we felt aaron best fit wakefield for the future. This is not to say that mark wasnt good enough for wakefield or that having aaron join wakefield would help us get signed any faster,the label intrest has been there long before aaron, this was just a band dicission. I hope you can all understand why we have cancelled some of our shows, Its not our head size its just that we need to reorganize,and for all those people that think that this was a publisity stunt SORRY to disappoint you. July 6, 2001 - Re-released CD
Awhile back there was talk that the boys would re-release their debut album with the "Click" as an extra track and apparently that has happened now, so go check it out!

June 29, 2001 - Benji and Joel on Hotzone
*Tuesday July 3rd* Benji and Joel on MTV's the *HOTZONE* ...they will be premiering the Festival Song Video

Because GC loves us Philly fans oh so much, their being kind enough to break from the Warped Tour to play a quick set at *Y100's Feztival* this year, so if your going be sure to come out early to see the guys!

*August 8th @ 8PM* Good Charlotte play live from the *Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame*, to be aired on MTV's Summer in the City Series

June 20, 2001 - New Drummer for Warped Tour
Dusty, the drummer from DC bands JesusEater and The Misery is going to be going out with the guys this summer helping them out on The Warped Tour.

Y100 has just said GC will be amoung the bands at this years Fez on *July 25th at the Tweeter Center*. Tix onsale Saturday *June 16 at 10am*.

May 28, 2001 - Joel and Benji in Australia
The twins will be making a trip down under sometime this week or next to do some promoting. No word yet on how long they'll be there or when the rest of the band will be joining them. But I'm beyond jealous ;P

May 18, 2001- Aaron has left Good Charlotte.
Sadly, yes it is true, GC will no longer inclue Aaron. Nate from Vroom will be filling in for him until HFS at the end of this month. No word yet on who will be the permanent new drummer. Check out what GC has to say at Good Charlotte . com
