Stories - "Perfectly Flawed": I'm not quite sure how I came up with the idea for this one. All I know is I got the idea, ran to my computer, and started working on it! Taylor and his best friend Tonnie are the main charaters. (Almost titled Flawed Perfection; finished as of June 21; long)
Falling: When ideas for scenes and such come to me, I type them up and leave them set so I'll have them to use if I get stuck when I'm writing. Well, I was staring at one of those little scenes I had typed up, and suddenly I got an idea. It would be all about Taylor and his struggles after Tonnie's death. (Sequel to Perfectly Flawed, unfinished, long.)
"Tumbling Down": As with Perfectly Flawed, this just came to me. I was kind of afraid of how some people were going to take it, but no negative feedback so far:) Zac and a girl named named Jen are the main charaters. Why did I chose Zac? Well, I'm not sure. He seemed to fit it. (Finished as of August 16; long; be on the lookout for the sequel Then Came You.)
"The Day the Music Died": I was listening to Jewel, and the song "Adrian" came on. As I was listening to it, the idea for this story popped into my head. (Original title was "My Adrian"; finished as of July 15; short)
"Rain": The original storyline had nothing to do with Hanson. I read over it, decided I liked it, and made a few changes. (Finished as of August 12; short)
"Fly": My personal favorite:) I was just sitting in the car, thinking about eveything, but nothing at all, and the first line of the story popped into my head out of nowhere. I thought I was gonna go crazy, mentally writing it and hoping to remember it. (Finished as of August 12; short)
"I'm Already There": This was inspired by the song by Lonestar. I was riding in the car, and the song came on. The ending turned out a little different on paper than in my head. (Finished as of August 14; short)
"Sweet Dreams": This was inspired by the song "You Make me Wanna" by Usher. (Finished as of August 15; short)
Dazzled (Silent Night): I was just sitting in the car one night, going home, and looking at all the Christmas lights when the word "dazzled" popped into my head. I couldn't get it out, and soon I had a story out of it. (Finished as of December 18; short)
Just Another Girl: I was just thinking about Zac and what it would be like to have a secret relationship with him. (Finished as of November 22; short)
Untitled: I just started typing. The story came rather easily, but the title didn't, so it remains untitled. (Finished as of September 13, short)
Forever Safe: Started out as a chapter story, but I wasn't quite sure what the plot was going to be, so I thought and thought and finally figured out a way to end it. (Finished as of October 21, short)
BTW-Any grammer or puncutation mistakes are meant to be there. So people are always looking for mistakes:) lol
My take on Fan Fiction:
I don't think fan fiction, or the people who write it, is/are bad. Just because I use Hanson as my characters doesn't mean that I think they are anything like in my story. The only reasons I use them are: a) It's fun and b) It gives the reader a mental image of what the characters look like. Yes, I do think some fan fics can go to far, but most are just fine by me. And I do know that some people are against fan fiction, and that's fine with me. I understand and respect their decision.
My recommended readings: Zac Says Tay Still Wets the Bed, Distoredly Perfect, Walls, the sequel Roads, Holding Onto Nothing, and the sequel Divided We Fall and the Anomalies series.
