Opiate for the Masses!!!
This part is dedicated to Opiate for the Masses. OFM is the reason I got into the local scene. They have an excellent stage performance. I've been at their shows basically from the beginning, when I started listening to OFM, they were the opening band and no one was really there to see them, now they're headlining show and have made quite a name for themselves. I don't miss any of their shows. OFM is: Ron Underwood-vocals; Ryan Head-bass; Dustin Lyon-guitar; Elias Mallin-drums; and Jim Kaufman-guitar. They fromed in 1999. They have a 10-song CD out called "New Machines and the Wasted Life" that you can pick up at their shows or at Zia's Record Store and they have a new 7-song CD out, i don't know the name yet. I urge anyone who has not seen this band to go see them live, they're unbelievable.
