(They go out into the corridor which is filled with smoke and walk as quickly as possible down the corridor. It's very hot and bits of the roof are beginning to fall from the fire.) Donna: I..fink the fole foof fis foming fown. Scott: What?! Donna: (moving the cloth away from her mouth) I said..I think the whole roof is coming down. See that bit there ahead of us. Dave: (Looking up and seeing how unsteady it is) Shit! Move quicker. (They run down the corridor but there is a massive crash as the roof caves in. A flying bit of roof hits Donna knocking her over) Katy: Donna! Are you ok? Scott: (helps Donna up) Are you hurt? Donna: I..I..I'm ok. But we're trapped. Dave: We can just go that way instead. Katy: That whole corridor we'll be on fire worse than here. The fire came from that direction. Scott: Well we'll have to go out a window then. Donna: But we're upstairs. Katy: We haven't got much choice. (they go into the room by them and over to the window) Scott: Ok stand back. (the others stand back and he smashes the window) Donna: And how are we suppose to get down there? Dave: (shaking) I don't think I can do this! Scott: It's ok Dave. I'm sure we can work out how to get down. We won't jump or anything stupid like that! Katy: (looking out window) We're in luck guys. There's a ledge over there. It's quite big. It's like a porch kinda thing over a door. Aaron: I don't think we can reach it though! So it's not very helpful. Donna: Well, if we break that window instead we'll be closer! Scott: Now you tell me! (moves to other window and breaks it) Now all we need to do is climb out. Dave: I can do this. I can do this. (looks out window) I can't do that. You made it sound like the ledge was under the window and it isn't! Donna: It's not that bad. Aaron: It's getting really smoky in here. Can we get out please. Scott: I'll go first then I can stand on the ledge and help. (he leans out the window and then leaps to the ledge which is below and across a bit from the window. Donna screams then sees he has landed on the ledge and breathes a sigh of relief) Donna: You could of killed yourself! How you managed to get on there ok I have no idea. Scott: Come on. Climb out backwards and I'll help you across. Donna: (looks worried) I..I.. Scott: You got to trust me! Donna: Ok. Here goes. (she backs out the window and Scott pulls her across to the ledge) That was so scary. Scott: But your fine aren't you. Come on Dave. Katy: I don't think he is going to fit on that ledge too. Donna will have to get down first. Donna: Great how am I suppose to do that. Aaron: Just slide yourself over the edge and lower yourself down. Then drop it won't be that far to the ground. Donna: Ok. (she lowers herself over the edge and then drops and lets out a scream as she hits the ground) Katy: (Yells) Donna! Are you ok? Donna: I'm ok. I'm a bit bruised but I don't think anything's broken. Scott: Dave come on. (Dave backs out the window and Scott helps him onto the ledge he then lowers himself down and is soon on the ground with Donna) Come on Katy, you next. Katy: I don't think I can. I can't put any weight on my leg. Aaron: (concerned) Is it that bad? Katy: I think it's broken. Scott: Well you can get on to the ledge ok. Just back out the window and I'll pull you across. Katy: Except then you'll pull my leg that's hurt. Scott: Oh! Aaron: Well can you go out frontwards so that your other leg is closest? Katy: (frowning) How? Scott: Aaron, can you lower her out? Or is your arm hurt too bad? Aaron: (looking at his arm and seeing the blood and slash) It's not as bad as it looks. I can manage. Katy sit on the window and I'll lower you down then Scott can pull you across. Katy: Ok. I trust you guys not to drop me, so don't let me down. (she sits on the window and Aaron lowers her down and then Scott pulls her over to the ledge) Aaron: You ok? Katy: Yeah though the next bit is going to hurt! Dave: If you lower yourself down me and Donna can probably reach you and lift you down. Katy: Ok thanks guys. (she lowers herself down and Dave and Donna help her to the ground. Scott and Aaron soon drop down onto the ground also) Scott: We made it!
