DOOMED FOR LIFE (Alternate Lyrics)
This life has given me nothing but hatred and scorn
Left with an empty heart that has been torn
I walked the path in my own bare feet
I hve found nothing in life to make my life complete

You have taken my dignity, but regained my freedom
And that is what you can never fucking have

Too shy to say, to quiet to talk
Wishing I would, but I never could

Kiss me I'm dying, so much for breathing
I'm Doomed for life, doomed for life.
A thousand times, goodnight.

In case anyone is wondering what this song is about, I'll give you an idea. Collin and I lived with JP and Jim back in 1999, and at the time we were all in between girlfriends. We decided to give up on girls all together and focus on nothing but hardcore! It was pretty sweet, and we had a big white board that was a petition against girls. It was the "Doomed for Life" board, and had about 80 signatures on it. Over time, it featured people from TRIAL, GOOD CLEAN FUN, EIFFEL, SHOGUN, COUNT ME OUT, and every other band that passed through town. Our house became the "Temple of Doom" and we had friends over all of the time. This all lasted about a few months, then people started to hang out with girls and the "Temple" turned into a "Shrine", and got relocated to Collin's room. It was at this point that the lyrics got changed because they were silly. The new lyrics deal with child abuse, a far cry from the original. By the way, the song "Take it Back" was originall called "This is Boulder". We recorded it in the studio as "This is Boulder," but after hearing it changed the chorus to "Take it back," after the part in the song "Syracuse Crisis," and the radio show that Collin and I did at the time called "Taking it Back."

The s/t 7" is out, and it has the songs 1. LUCIFER'S MOB 2. IMPULSE 3. AGAIN I DIE 4. TAKE IT BACK 5. SYRACUSE CRISIS 6. DOOMED FOR LIFE The limited 1st press will be on red vinyl and hand numbered to 300. This is SOLD OUT!!!! Our record also got pressed on NOT JUST WORDS records in Europe. We have VERY LIMITED COPIES. A Little Note: The NJW press was limited to 750 copies, with 200 on RED/WHITE/BLUE swirl vinyl! Of those 200, 50 came with a limited STRAIGHT AHEAD rip off cover, with a different lyric sheet. Also, a "final press" of 40 were made by Not Just Words Records which has the regular cover, but it's a black and white photocopy, with a photocopied lyric sheet. Since they had records lying around, they made some quick covers for this. On the back, it has a yellow note indicating the final press.

All of these below are Out of Print!
