Closer is from The Downward Spiral, Halo 8.

Track 5, this song contains the infamous chorus, "I wanna fuck you like an animal...".

Considered by some to be his finest work, it was released as a maxi single, Closer To God, and as a two-part single in the UK: Further Away and Closer To God. Closer (Precusor) featured in the film Se7en. It is played at the beginning of the film and really fits the scene.

With its great beat, it was regularly played in clubs and became a favourite of many clubbers.

The video, considered a masterpiece, was rarely played uncut on TV. It had a "Scene Missing" frame covering the "adult material".
