In 1962 I was born in Uppsala, Sweden. 1973 I heard Deep Purple
for the first time. And I just had to play guitar. Bought my first electric guitar for 25
Skr, and it totally changed my life direction.
I met Henrik Norberg in my early teens, and started a band called
FBT(named after the amplifier we used to disturb our neighbours with). Kalle Samuelsson
& Jocke Eriksson joined our band and we changed our name to Feedback, we lasted for a
few years when we rehearsed a lot and had a few gigs. After we split I played with a couple
of other bands -Cancer, -Mr Joskin, -Spunk, -Z Ståhlfjäder Band, -Badkars, to name a
few.
I met Ulf Gustavsson and we formed Pandora, he played bass. I did
the vocals and played guitar. At the beginning we wrote our material in Swedish. Bo
Ståhlbrandt joined for keyboards, Lars Dahström replaced Ulf and we changed direction
and became more musical flexible, we released a single "Morning Rain", but Jonas
Palmquist our drummer, left when we were ready. Stefan von Pongrats took over the drums.
He was a trained musician and bringed some Latin rhythms with him.
Stefan decided that he should do something else and we did some
recordings with another drummer, Jonas Nyström. Finally Henrik Norberg came back and
another change in direction was a fact. We played more instrumental doing more complex
music. We became a symphonic rockband. At this time I still was the lead singer, but now
we needed a "really good" singer, to express our music. We've tried a few
during the years, Marcello Quiroga, Ingvar Berg & Owe Eriksson are some names.
In the summer `89 Pandora splitted after more than 10 years of
playing, recording and performing original music. I joined a band which should became Solid
Blue, withHasse
Fröberg (Lead vocals, guitar) as the musical leader. Other members were Palle Isaksson
(Drums), Jan Olander (Bass), Rikard Zander (Keyboards) and Me, Sören Cederberg (Lead
Guitar).
Solid Blue won the Swedish contest Rock-SM 1991, and toured
heavily ´91-´95. We released the album, Vol III, featuring originals plus a live studio
recording of D. Bentleys (R. Stewarts) "In a broken dream"
Did some demos in my homestudio in the 90´s. You can hear
them if you follow my links to "Sören Cederberg - Solo" at Mp3.com.
"Incredible Blue" has changed name to "Sister Moon" after some member-changes. Sister moon are:
Sia G. -Keyboards/S.Cederberg -Guitars/P.Nylen -Bass/O.Strandberg -Drums
New Demo is ready, 5 strong songs with different output to show the new potential of the band.
