Jason's Story
I have a summer house in Schroon Lake, NY and go to the same bar that's been there forever - Flanagan's on Main Street. Being the July 4th (2004) weekend it was busy up there but celebrity musicians are rare up in the Adirondacks. I saw a guy there that I immediately thought might be the drummer for Def Leppard,
Rick Allen. He was with a very attractive natural looking woman with a killer smile beautiful long black hair - kind of looked like the actress Annabella Sciorra only much prettier.
Turns out it was Rick Allen - a local said his wife was originally from the area of upstate NY. I went up to him and must say - he was just a very down to earth guy and just very nice. He was snapping photos of people singing karaoke and just chatting with locals, many of which probably were not aware
he was the drummer for Def Leppard. I am now learning about all the great causes Mr. Allen and his wife Lauren Monroe are involved with. They seem like terrific people.
