Arms Wide Open Video Review

If There Were Ever any debate about Creed NOT Sucking, This Video Would Clear up the last bits of Faith you may have had in Creed.

The Video Starts out Innocently Enough. It looks just like any other Crappy video that you would see on MTV, but little did I know what was in store for me in the duration of the next couple minutes. When Scott Stapp Was sitting down and Singing to us, That was bad enough, but when he started to walk around, Now, Thats when the real fun Began

As Scott Gallantly Walks across the grassy Plains, Something Terrible happens. I Meteor Shower starts, and is a great danger to Mr. Stapp's Life. "Watch out Scott!!...Oh good, he made it out alive, aaahhhh.... What a dreamboat." I hope Next time one of those flaming space rocks knocks you silly. What a Hero that Scott Stapp is, Courageously Forging ahead to some unknown goal.

After Narrowly escaping certain doom in a shower of meteors from the heavans, Scott Next finds himself in some sort of Bell tower. Apparantly "They just don't Make em' Like they used to" Because within seconds of his entry, Scott is in dire trouble again. The Bell Falls through the floor of the tower and almost takes the lead singer with it. But, once again our Hero is safe and sound, but after jumping into the hole in the floor created by th falling bell, finds himself in a watery Cavern. (If you watch the Video again, you can notice a falling piece of wood bonk Scott on the head when he drops into the hole.)

The Next Challenge to overcome, is a 4 foot deep puddle of water into which Mr. Stapp must plunge to make it to the afore-mentioned "goal" But as is exhibitted by our hero, no challenge will be left unconquerred. he jumps into the Mystically Cleansing Water and appears to come to orgasm after doing so.

Well, the Video continues on with Scott Exitting the Rocky Catacombs and breaking into the Sunlight. And After just a few more "absolutely Necessary" shots of Scott Stapp's Face, We see The Hero scaling up this knoll/cliff Leading off to the Ocean (how dramatic). The Video finishes off with a "beautiful" Rotating shot of (who else?) Scott as he Stands atop the cliff with his arms... Wide open.

All in All, this video appeared quite Self indulgent and offered nothing to the world of Music Video. A cavalcade of Scott Crapp images pasted over Highly computer enhanced backgrounds. If You were to ask me what the Drummer or Bassist Looked like after viewing this "Masterpiece" I could honestly say "I Have no Idea". On the Creed Sucks Scale, I give this video, an 8.
