NEWS - Creed Singer Scott Stapp In Auto Accident, Tour Canceled 04/30/2002
(4/30/02, 11 a.m. ET) --Creed singer Scott Stapp was in an auto accident, forcing the band to cancel the second leg of its North American Weathered tour, which was to have started on Monday (April 29) in Fargo, North Dakota. Details about the date and specific location of the accident have not yet been released, although the accident occurred in the Orlando, Florida area. Doctors have advised Stapp to rest and cancel the tour while he recuperates.
Calls placed by LAUNCH to the band's publicist to find out the extent of Stapp's injuries were not returned by press time.
Creed plans to resume touring in the summer, but make-up dates for this leg of the tour are not planned. Ticket refunds for the canceled shows are available at the point of purchase.

Well, Well, Well, It appears that Our friend Mr. Stapp has had himself a little accident. Now I'm not one to ever wish misfortune upon anyone. That would be hypocritical of me, but it seems that Scott has cancelled the whole rest of his North American tour. The extent of his injuries has not yet been released to the media or the public, so we can't see how injured he appears to be. Scott has had his fair share of fights lately, and it would appear that what goes around has come around. This is just one point of view of, I'm sure, millions that exist. But sometimes fate does work in mysterious ways. Though I do not like the music that this man makes, nor do I like his character from what I've heard. But I have never met him and would not wish extreme harm upon him, So I wish the lead singer a speedy recovery, so he can continue his crappy tour and we can all partake in enjoying the mountain of Suckage that is Creed.
