Original music with Jewish themes During the first half of the Second Temple area in Jerusalem... The second Bait Ha' Migdash... Within the walls of the city.. Overlooking the temple gates, stood a kosher cafe loved by the Jews of that time. It was called Cafe Shamayim by the locals and it was owned by a Tzaddik, Ben Yehuda. It was a very popular place for Jews from around the world to hang out; Especially the ones who recently performed korbanos at the holy temple. During the three annual festivals, chazal tells us "it was practically impossible to get a table at Cafe Shamayim". Besides the delicious foods and drinks, original Jewish melodies were sung in the cafe throughout the day. May we someday, be sitting again in that cafe overlooking the divine radiance of our third and final temple.
