2. What instruments do you play and what is your musical background?
Mainly guitar, I've been playing for over four years now. I'm teaching myself bass, and I'm also learning flute. I'm also fooling around on the drums, and I kinda pick at the keyboard.
3. If you write songs, which bands/singers do they sound similar too?
Innocence Mission (the newest album), 100 Portraits (the newest album), maybe a little Sarah Masen.
4. If you sing, which singers would you sound similar too?
Well, these are mostly guesses; Julie Martin (bon voyage), Karen Paris (innocence mission), maybe Mancy A'lan Kane and Christine Glass (even though i'm not really fans of theirs).
5. Most encouraging moment as a musician/singer and why?
when you actually play the right chord or sing in the right key, it's the little things in life that count.

Life in general, sometimes poems.

Sixpence None The Richer, Over The Rhine, 100 Portraits, Our Lady Peace, R.E.M (hehe), Starflyer 59, Element101, cool indie bands, etc.
9. When preforming do you have any particular type of stage look?
I just look like myself.
10. What brands of equipment do you favor?
Epiphone, Shure, EBE alien-head-glow-in-the-dark picks, Fender amps, and Rickenbaucker guitars!

Go through a sound check before hand, and make sure everythings "ok" with each person playing,

Geeze, I dunno. I can play a bunch of sixpence's songs, some tess wiley junk. not really top fourty stuff though.

Because I don't like to waste time learning songs, i'd rather make up my own.

Well, if I were playing at a really snazzy club I'd order baby back ribs, nice and tender ones!

My fourtrak, my guitars, my cheese 12 inch "amp" and my shure mic. Everything basicaly.

SOMETHING, gosh you have no idea how long it takes to get anything done!
