No newsworthy bits to mention!
There was a Hanson mention in the January 10th edition of Street Smarts. Street Smarts is a syndicated television game show that tests contestants' abilities to predict what dumb people on the street will say when asked a variety of questions (think "Jay Walking" on the Tonight Show). A picture of the Hansons was shown and a guy who sells churros in San Diego was asked "Who are these kids?" He got the answer right, but cussed and bashed Hanson badly. I say we find this guy and pelt him with his own churros. (If anyone living in San Diego could email me and give me your estimate on how many places there are in the city where you can find churros I'd appreciate it.) Geez, he couldn't even pronounce churro properly!
Did you hear Hanson on recently re-run episode of Malcolm In The Middle? Hanson's song "Smile" was played during the show, and if you want to catch the rerun, it's the episode in which Malcolm, the main character, helps out an old lady at her house after school. The song is on the show's soundtrack.
