12/5/02: Hi there! Wow, it's been months since an updated. I mean, why update the page if the band is dormant? He-he… Actually, the Pink Slips are planning to have one or two shows this Christmas and sell our long lost CD. Elija and I can't remember how to play the songs, so we're slightly screwed. Perhaps Cookie and KK will know? The Pink Slips have had a good long run, but it's over. These next few show will be our last if they happen. So take care and thank you for dropping by! 1/27/02: Pirate's Cove. Captain Morgan has been shot. Second mate has gone over board. There is too many of them.
11/30/01: Yeah, I miss practicing. Last night I was playing guitar all alone and I made up the best song in the history of rock! But I forgot it. It would have been great.
11/26/01: Our CD is finish and mastered. Elija & me are to plan the inserts starting today. There's talk of going on a mini tour this next summer cuz lovely & talented Cookie may move to thr cities. So one last splash before we split. Hope you had a great turkey day or tofurkey day. Praxis.
11/1/01: Congrats to new parents Elija and Sissy! They had a baby on the 29th! Give them a hug when you see them!
10/16/01:I wonder if we're gonna have band practice before the show on the 27th? It would rock and occilate if we could do one of our many new songs that we haven't got down. I saw Kurt Cobain at Wendy's yesterday. He was eating chicken nuggets. The guy looked staight outta 94! It was awesome. I wanted to listen to Sound Garden with him! Be excelent to one another.
10/12/01:Yes! I have actual band news! Well not really. But, I did hear last night, when I was in Fargo, that they want Pinks to play there! Hint to rest of band? "Wink-wink." After Fargo, with some friends, we saw Stomp. I had never heard of them but they're fucking fantastic! Brooke would have died! They are a procussion group but don't use actual drums, they use every day things like brooms, garbage cans, pipes, sinks and a bunch more. Take care yall!

10/8/01:Ahh. I feel better today. Woke up this morning and it smelled like Halloween and candy. I still haven't figured out a costume. Last year I dressed up and went to Denny's and took cheesy S&M pics in the bathroom with friends. I'd like to have a better time than that. I'm too old to be pretending that I can't have fun. I'll be forty and I'll still be decked out on Halloween. You're never too old to rock out.
10/7/01:Got a start for a links page up. For some reason the Running On Empty's one isn't working. Maybe they're changing web masters again? I am thinking about applying a disclaimer to this page to inform people of my sarcasm. It is hard to articulate sarcasm over the internet. Only a few have had my sarcasm bite their butts, but a few is too many. I'm gonna try harder to maintain a positive role.
9/24/01: Oh I'm drunk. But am happy to learn that I might be in love with a CD. I can't wait to gt home toit. It's my honey, and I admire it's evry note and word. But I not tell you what ir is. Becasus that would ruin the surprise. Screw dating. This CD makes me feel like a wild suculent woman more than any freak I dated. I bet no one reads this. That's alright, I'll just tell you all the truth. My parent don't have sex. I'm very worried.
9/18/01: There's a lot of things that bother me. But morons aren't one of them. They just don't know any better. They were bred in an environment that didn't stimulate their brain activity. They may have had moron parents. I don't mind them though. I can be a pretty big moron too. But then I sober up. Moron's need special care. Their own environment where they can play and breed in peace. No strains of being a better or smarter person. We should be nicer to morons. Take them under own political wing and protect them from wild fires and their own erratic habits. A lot of morons sign our guest book. They think I get mad at them cuz they make fun of people I care for or because they like music that I don't particularly like. That's alright, rock on with Fred Durst's bad self. Do your own thing. Make fun of people you don't know. That's cool, you've just been misinformed. I don't delete their guest book entries because they annoy me, but because I don't want morons to expose them or their opinions to any bad media. But what is a moron? Is it true that morons are horrid in bed? No. Or is it true that they have so much pain in them? On the contrary, we have just as much pain to deal with as the morons. We are the same physically. Emotionally we are equals. But mentally they are lacking judgment and motor skills. Society does not discriminate who will become a moron. No sex is safe. Some can fight it off while others fail under the pressure of fitting in. "Moron" should not be an insult, but a warning that their ways are leading them down a creepy and lonely road with no cd player. What the hell am I writing? Oh yeah, that was another joke. It was not meant to be directed at any one. Natch.
9/15/01: I have an alpha cold. Not really band news, but I have no friends. I watch Lexx on the SciFi channel and read National Geographic.
9/14/01: Recording done, but is being mastered by our master Corey. Elija will be a father here in a few months. Sissy is my budda. Played ...ehh..with the Tight Bro's and C Average, which was a friggin' gas. Had a rad show with our friends The Enola Gays and met Twig's Tricycle. I fucking love them! As for Tuesday, It would be great if I could say something insightful or helpful. Take care everyone.
7/02/01: At the end of July we'll be recording at Promise 57 Studios and sleeping on floors and couches again. Krystle will steal all the blankets. Watch out.
News: Currently we are getting ready to record last I heard. But who knows. Krystle and me are writing new material. Elija and Brooke are nothing in the band. They do what we tell them to do. We fuck them then roll over and watch tv. And for those of you who are joke impaired, that was a joke. Each person in this band contributes and works hard to make you dance. Don't forget that.
