Jeff is from Long Island and has been playing bass for almost 10 years. Jeff started out by playing in punk and alternative rock bands, but he always wanted to go heavier with writing. After much disappointment with going nowhere, Jeff decided to switch over and try his hand at playing metal. He met J Suffers while attending Five Towns College. They played in a metal band together until it all fell apart, but they stayed friends. Then one day J approached Jeff and asked him if he wanted to take another shot at the metal scene. When he first joined The Suffering, Jeff felt a little awkward about the whole thing being that he never really played metal before. He then realized that to be an effective and strong link in The Suffering's chain he needed to incorporate his studies of classical and jazz music into the songs. Since then Jeff's thunderous low-end rhythms and classical/jazz melodies have been a key factor in The Suffering's aggressive sound.
