Welcome to the hell that is The Suffering! The Suffering is a metal band out of Long Island. They believe that metal is about the music and not about being fashionable. They mix the sounds of old school and new school death and thrash and combine it with classically influenced basslines. This site is currently under some construction but new things are being added daily. In the weeks to come expect to see a sounds page where you can download wav samples of some of our songs. Well, we finally got a shorter domain name and the best part about it was that it was totally free! Yesterday, we played an afternoon all ages show at Club Sambuca in Westbury. Thanks to the club for having us come out and rock the place. There are a ton more shows coming up this month and the months to come. Check the Dates page for details.

The album is still a work in progress, but we just recently got some of the guitar tracks laid down and all I have to say is.......HOLY SHIT! This album is gonna be real loud, real heavy and really fucking nasty! In the next few months we will have out a 3 or 4 song demo CD and then hopefully if everything works in our favor, the album will be totally done. Keep checking back for more updates!
