February 14th, 2003: II Deep Concert (Tampa.FL)
- First off..lemme jus say.. I am so proud of Tony -n- Cuba for putting on a great show last nite. There were some minor difficulties w/ their sound equipment when II Deep went on stage..but they made the most of their resources -n- motivation and went on w/ the show ne ways! So thank you Tony -n- Cuba for giving me the best valentines day I've ever had.. -n- I mean that from the bottom of my heart
- AD...E..Erika..Sixx -n- Them 2 were the opening acts for the evening! AD: Wow what to say about him.. his voice..is so strong..his vocals r SO intense..he has a lot of strength behind it too!!! But he was definitelie one of those performers who gets to you! E: Was also a great act to watch! He seemed really laid back when he sang, but he had a lot of heart with it! This one song he wrote by having the inspiration of a girl that was standing near me in the front row, and he serenaded her with it, and I thought that was adorable! Erika: Then there was Erika.. she is SO beautiful.. honest to god she is.. When she steps out on that stage she looks like she was born to be a star! She's only 18 years old, but her voice sounds so full and unique and she definitelie is full of talent! I definitelie enjoyed listening to her sing! Sixx: He was reallie good 2!! I didn't get to hear much of him because my friends kept pulling me different places, but what I did hear, he's also another talented artist! Them 2: As some of my friends.. Holli, Kirsten -n- Holly know.. I was danced for lol by Them 2.. They are really good singers, dancers, artists, performers.. however you want to term them, and when they collaborate with II Deep, they sound so much fuller!! They are definitelie a lively crew!! Keep a look out for them!
- Now.. I've known Tony for... oh..about a year or longer.. around there... -n- from knowing him personally, I know and I can say that he is an awesome all around laid back kind of guy. He's a very caring person and he does luv giving to people and he luvs making people happy, so when I saw him go on stage last nite with Cuba (aka together being called II Deep) I can't tell you how happy I was for them both to see them up on that stage in the spotlight. Being front row, center, I had an awesome spot to watch them, and they have worked their butts off lately recording in the studio day in and day out, straining their bodies to give their all for their album which should be arriving in stores very soon! There were technical problems, which unfortunatelie occurred during their debut performance last nite, but it was nothing that was under their control. They did incredible with the resources they did have, and Nick (Nick Carter) did assist with fixing the feedback problems the microphones were giving them.
- As I told Tony -n- Cuba last nite.. it was an incredible show and performance on their part. My favorite part of the nite was probably when Nick was beatboxing some stuff in the background as Tony -n- Cuba broke it down!! It sounded really tight. And you could tell, Tony was glad to have his boy Nick there for support! I was nervous for them both.. lol.. but only because I wanted everything to go perfect for them! And even though it wasn't perfect, they made it a hella Valentines Day for me, all of my friends, and all the fans that showed up for support!
- So once again, thank you to Tony -n- Cuba for inviting me to your concert. I envy the talents you both have, and you are both amazing in so many unspeakable ways. I wish you the best luck in talent (even though u don't need it!) and towards your successful futures.
