Ethan Foss is the percussionist of 4-Fold. He first started playing drums in 4th grade. From there on he got his first drum set and started taking drum lessons the following year. He has played in and out of garage bands from that point on. He represented the company where he took lessons in various concerts, he has played in various competitions, concert bands, jazz bands, pep bands, all-state competitions, and musicals.

Ethan is inspired by Carter Beuford of Dave Mathews Band, and Chad Sexton from 311. The sound of Dave Weckle and Steve Gadd have also been inspirational. Most of all Ethan's taching was by Jon McDonald who taught him all he knows. Without him I wouldn't be what I am today, thank you.

Ethan's drumming styles include jazz, funk, and rock. He plays pearl drums and pearl hardware. His heads are a mix of Evans G2 and Remo pinstripe. He plays Sabian AAx, AAxplosion, Hand Hammered B8pro LP, Percussion symbols, and play pearl double bass pedals.
