This page is devoted to the wonder that is me.

Let's start with the basics.  I am Rachel.  I am 20 years old and live in Kent with my boyfriend Justin...we'll talk about him elsewhere.  I was born on January 6th 1983 in Edmonds, Washington at 4:23am.  I lived with my mom and dad for the first 2 years of my life.  We moved around a bit.  Nisqually, Auburn, Federal Way, and Olympia to name a few.  Then we left my dad cuz he's a dork...hehe.  I had asthma when I was little...that sucked...take a look  We moved to Kent when I was 4 years old.  I don't remember much from before that.

Growing up in Kent...aka...Rachel embraces her inner tom boy.

Living in Kent was an interesting experience to say the least.  Then again Kent is an interesting experience.  I attended both Panther Lake Elementary and Springbrook Elementary.  Kindergarten at PL, First-Third at SB in the gifted program Fourth not in GP at SB, back to PL for Fifth and Sixth.  If you followed that congratulations.  Yes I was a gifted geek...or that's what we were called.  But let's go back a bit.  Kindergarten, I was going to Kindercare at the time.  That still happens to be next to PL.  Everyday I would go out and play outside with my friends Annah Pringer, Lorelei somebody and Megan Otis.  We had a band.  We covered mainly the Beach Boys but we weren't opposed to taking requests.

School was fun but summer was where life was at.  I spent most of my life from ages 5 to 12 in the woods behind my friend Ryan's house.  I was the only girl in the neighborhood but I don't think they knew that till we got into Junior High.  Dirt slides, building forts, fighting off imaginary ninjas with Nerf bats, and getting dirtier than anyone could imagine was our daily routine.  I used to come home and my mom would make me jump up and down before I could come in so the clouds of dirt would  be left outside.

We used to have a plumb tree and grapes in our back yard.  My friends would come over and we would eat the grapes and plumbs and talk.  Occasionally, when my mom would be gone we would get up on the roof, run across the neighbors roof (we lived in duplexes) and throw plumbs at their back porch and sliding glass door.  Then we would run back over to our side and hide behind the chimney.  I remember one time the neighbor came out and caught us.  She yelled at us, we laughed at her because of her lack of English, and her husband came and knocked on my door.  Terrified of getting in trouble my friends ran and I went inside and told my mom not to answer the door because we were just talking and laughing and having a good time and the neighbor came out and yelled at us and now is coming over to tell her les.  I think she knew the truth but had pity on me and sent him away.
