I use a black Fender telecaster, standard pickups…. I love this guitar… it defiantly has me, I previously used a fender stratocaster, it was nice but doesn’t have the twang that CCR tunes demand.
Amplifier
What can I say, I am a Fender child, all I use is Fender… I have a Fender Hot Rod Deville 410… it’s a rocker… the sound is amazing… it’s all tube driven… just a plain awesome amp.
Other things that you will not benefit from knowing
Picks- I use whatever I can get… but I really like Fender mediums, thins are sweet but too weak… and my second choice is dunlop… I don’t care what style… they are all sweet.
Stand- I have this really cool blue stand… I don’t know who makes it… I got it in Chicago a couple years back… its really sweet…. Rock on!
Cables- I have a variety…
Strap- I wont pay more than 6.99 for a strap… so whatever I can get for that much is what I will use… maybe someday I will spend lots of money on a cool strap… but until then… I am sticking with the weekly special.
Effects- I have a ZOOM 505, I don’t recommend this to anyone… it’s junk… but it does the job…. I haven’t got my self to purchase the single effects but they are by far better than multi effect pedals. I also have the standard drive/more drive pedal that came with my amp… cant leave home without it… and I have a Dunlop cry baby wah… that’s just a sweet pedal…. It puts the fire that is in my pants out…. Actually it feeds it… wait… what am I saying….
Strings- Ernie Ball stings are my fav. Super Slinky or Hybrid Slinky… ROCK ON!
