Broken Angel

Well, we're going to skip ahead a bit again, since this is obviously getting to be a long story. I'm sure you're all sore in places that you didn't know you had, and maybe need to stand up and stretch a bit. Go on, stand up and stretch. Better? Good. Well, I told my parents about everything, and they seemed a little shocked at first, but very happy that I was happy. My mom didn't freak about my hair, not like Taylor had hoped. He had hoped that she'd freak out and ground me or something, devious bastard that he was. But I loved him anyway. Weeks had gone by, and now we were on our way to New York, flying in with Kim to meet her family and move our stuff into her new house. She had graciously offered us a place to stay, which I accepted happily! Taylor and Isaac were unsure if they should stay, but decided that they would need time to find a place anyway.
I glanced over at Kim quickly. She was sleeping peacefully. How she could sleep on an airplane was beyond me. The flying thing never sat very well with me, or my stomach for that matter. Every little jerk the plane made, I felt it. I wanted to crawl under the seat and not come out until we landed. I hated to admit I was scared of things, but hell, everyone has a fear of something, right? Taylor and Isaac were the ones that could fly, I couldn't seem to get the hang of it. I got serious motion sickness the moment the plane took off. Dramamine was my best friend on flights, and it had been since we started flying over seas to do shows.

I leaned my head back against the seat, shutting my eyes tightly as I felt the plane jerk slightly. I grabbed the barf bag that sat next to me and put it up to my face.

"The turbulence bothering you again?" Issac asked quietly.

"Yeah man, but I'll be ok." I mumbled.

He ruffled my hair lightly and sat back down in his seat behind me. I could hear him talking to Taylor quietly about something. My eyes were still closed tightly and I could feel the bile rising in my throat. I was going to lose it, I just knew it.

"Baby, you ok?" I heard Kim whisper.

"Yeah, I just get sick on airplanes." I tried to smile and open my eyes but I was afraid I would puke all over myself, or worse, all over Kim.

She put her hand on my stomach gently and made tiny circles. It felt good, really good actually. She leaned back and looked at Taylor and Isaac.

"Could you get Zac a Sprite or something?" she asked quietly.

"Yeah, sure." I heard Taylor reply.

I smiled weakly at her, I couldn't muster anything more.

"You'll be ok, I promise." She smiled back at me.

"Thank you. I'm sorry, I just don't like to fly, it's a complex or something." I whispered.

"I understand, I'm not crazy about it either."

Taylor came back with a can of Sprite in his hand.
"I had to hit up the refreshment cart. The stewardess asked if you need anything else." He said handed the soda to Kim and sitting down in his seat.

"No, we're fine." Kim smiled at him and opened the top quickly. "Thanks Taylor."

"Sure, no problem."

"Here Zac, drink this." She said handing me the soda. I sipped lightly off of it, holding it in my mouth for a second before swallowing. I closed my eyes again as they started to water a bit and the bubbles tickled my nose.

"How's that? Any better at all?" She asked as she placed her hand on my stomach again.

"A little better. I'll be much better when we get our feet back on the ground again." I smiled again.

"I know baby, soon. We'll be there really soon."

"How soon is soon?" I laughed.

"Like, maybe 10 minutes, if that. I don't know exactly."

"I'll be ok until then. Just keep talking to me." I smiled again and grabbed her hand. I reached for her other hand and touched the ring lightly.

"I love you Zac."

"I love you too Kim."

"Stop with the mushy shit, I'm gonna be sick now." Taylor laughed.

"Taylor, shut your hole." Isaac laughed back and smacked his head.

Ahh, the joys of being a Hanson. I rolled my eyes and turned back towards Kim again. The loudspeaker clicked on and the announcement was made that we would be landing.

"Thank God." I mumbled and kissed Kim's hand lightly.

"Home Sweet Home." She smiled and buckled her seatbelt.

"Yup. Home with you. This is all so surreal."

"I know, I can't believe it. I'm so glad you're here with me. All of you actually. I love you guys too, ya butt heads." She laughed and flung her hand over the back of the seat. Taylor and Ike grabbed her hand lightly and laughed.

"Yeah, we love you too." Isaac replied.

"Yeah, we can't help but love you...... you're so, like Zac." Taylor laughed.

Go Home?
