Delimit is a band directly out of Minster, OH. All 4 members(Jonathon Ranly, Guitar/ Justin Gusching, Guitar/ Matthew Sommer, Bass/ Chet Gigandet, Drums) Graduated from Minster High School and are currently attending colleges in Columbus, Ohio such as: OSU, Devry University, and Columbus State University. Delimit is a very well layered group. Each member has a different preference of music and from the mixture of different genres you get a band that solely concentrates on perfection. Not only does this show in their instrumentals but in their vocals and harmonys. Their music isn't all they have going for them. Their youthful energy also is a good add on to their live show.

Delimit was originally created back in the early years of high school by Justin Gusching and Jon Ranly. Later, Chet Gigandet, drummer, joined the two. But there was still something missing. Delimit needed a bassist. Thats when Matthew Sommer decided to pick up the bass. Jon Ranly, guitarist/vocalist, learned to play back when he was in the 6th grade. He also plays the trumpet, drums, and writes his own music. Justin Gusching, guitarist/vocalist, learned soon after. He can also play the piano, clarinet, bass clarinet, sax, drums, bass, violin, egg shakers, and writes his own music. Chet Gigandet, drummer/vocalist, bought his first drum set in his early years of high school. And Matthew Sommer, bassist/vocalist, first started playing during the end of his junior year of high school. He can also play the trumpet, violin, and writes his own music. Each member of Delimit was also a member of the Minster High School Band.

As time passed on, a war broke out. Not between the band, but between the US and Iraq. Jonathon was called up for duty overseas with the National Guard and had to leave the band. But that wouldn't stop DeLimit from playing music. Although the loss of a guitarist is never good, it creates much more motivation in finding someone new as a replacement, so the rest of the band may continue to do what they love best, playing and creating music.

As for Delimits future music career, they plan on playing more covers and eventually getting into more originals. They will be around soon, so keep on listening!
