...Why this website exists....

As you may or may not know,this band (Dilligaf) now no longer exists.Yet if there are any future plans of bringing the band back to life again or currently has just been done so,then this website exists as a website dedicated to my involvements of being with the band for time I was in it.The band was active between the years of 1999-2003.It was one of the (if not "the") largest act at it's time here in the Warren/Youngstown,Ohio region.This website was the "official" website of Dilligaf between the years 2001-2002 and was created and managed by me,(Mike Hissam),the drummer of the band at that time.
And the "purpose" as well as some of the reasons why this website exists is to publish online some of the materials (media,photos,etc..) that I had collected over time with my stay in the band.Also to share with others online who have not known about or had never seen any of these collections.It's also in mind that I have seen some "site hits" (visitors) still coming to this site from time to time was also a motivating factor in me "re-creating" this website once again.
Lastly,I feel that for all the band had accomplished and had contributed to the area music scene here,I felt that a "permanent testimony" should exist for the band online.And I was proud to have been a part of it.We had a great following/name and a number of great things going on for us at the time.We almost made it.And this site is dedicated to those who had taken the time to come out to see the band,and to those also who helped us along the way.
Yes this website will be 'active',meaning any messages/emails being left I will be monitoring weekly and will forward them to any of the former guys from the band as well as requests.And even though the band does not exist anymore,I still will be continuing to "add" materials where I see fit to this website and as I find them.
I published on this site as much as I felt was necessary and tried to be as detailed as I could with narrations of both years I was with the band and what went on with it.I also tried to "model" this site to have the "look and feel" of the original website design as it was in it's heyday back in the 2001-2002 era.If for some reason I had missed anything or made a mistake (which I am "human" by the way),then please let me know as my main email address is:drumbymh@aol.com
