Frankie- There is room for 7, so three of you girls will have to sit on or laps.
The girls got into the car. Frankie was driving, Dorothy was sitting next to him. In the back Corinne was on Chris’s lap, Megan was on Matt’s,Lucy was on Jesse’s and Sam and Greg sat next to eachother, with Greg’sarm around her.
Lucy- So, where are we going?
Jesse- Well, we packed a lunch and we are gonna go to the park.
Greg- For a day of loooovveee.
Chris- Nice Greg, no hints!
Corinne- Hints?
Frankie- Nice going Chris! I swear none of you can keep a secret.
Megan-Secret? What are you guys up to?
Matt- Great, now they all know!
Greg- Will you all shut up before they guess what we have planned?
Frankie- We are here!
They all got out of the car and grabbed some koolers and a blankets.
Jesse- So, what do you lovely ladies wanna do first?
Dorothy- How about a little touch football?
Matt-Girls?
Chris-playing football??
Corinne- We have brothers.
Frankie-Ohhhhh
Megan-So, what are the teams?
Matt-Well, we'll make fair teams.
Lucy-Well I got my football, what are the teams?
Dorothy- Boys vs Girls
Chris-That's not fair, we'll cream you!
Sam-Really?Prove it. (She said tossing Chris the foot ball)
Frankie- well, if they wanna play, lets play.
After playing for 30 minutes the girls only needed one more touchdown to win.
Greg-DUDE! They might beat us!
Chris- I know! I know!
Corinne Hiked the ball to Dorothy who passed it to Sam at the other end of the field. Sam caught it and started to run, and just as she was about to score Greg steped in front of her. They both fell down and started laughing, but soon realized the aqward position they were in. They were basically on top of eachother. Greg propped him self up with one hand, then started to kiss Sam. Pretty soon they were making out and no one knew who had won the game.
Chris- So I guess we won!
Corinne- How do you figure that?
Matt- He's right, Sam has to put the ball over the line for you to win.
As he spoke Sam (still kissing Greg) lifted up the ball and placed it over the line.
Lucy- We win!
Megan- Yeah!
Matt- Here, let me give you a victory kiss! (He said walking over and giving Megan a kiss on the cheek)
Jesse- I am so hungry! Can we eat?
Lucy- Good idea.
Lucy walked over to Greg and Sam, (still kissing) and screamed "We're eating now!" They stopped kissing and walked over to where everyone was sitting on a blanket
Matt opened up the kooler and took out sodas, and sandwiches and passed them around. Then Jesse went into the basket and took out chips, cookies, and other snack foods.
Megan- these sandwiches are really great! Who made them?
Chris- We all did
Frankie- Oh, I left my boombox in the car.
Dorothy- I'll go get it with you.
Frankie- Cool
They both got up and walked to Frankies car. Frankie unlocked the trunk and dug through bags to find the boombox.
Dorothy- I think I found it (She said while accidently pushing the "on" button)
N*SYNC's "Gone" pumped through the speakers.
Dorothy- I love this song!
Frankie- Come on, lets dance.
(He said taking her hand and pulling her close)
They danced as the sun slowly set behind them. Dorothy put her head on Frankies chest and colsed her eyes. When she looked up Frankie was staring at her. She was about to talk when he placed a single finger on her lips. He wrapped his hands around his waist and they kissed. As the final notes to "Gone" played, Z100's Elvis brought them back to earth.
Frankie- Come on, lets go.
When they got down to where they were all sitting everyone was talking happily.
Megan- Hey, I see you got the boom box.
Dorothy- yep (She said giving Megan a "boy do I have a story to tell you" look
Chris- Corinne, wanna go for a walk? ( He said standing up)
Corinne- sure
Chris outstreached his hand and helped Corinne up.
They started to walk down the path way in silence. They both talked at the same time.
Chris- Corinne
Corinne-Chris
Corinne- You first.
Chris- I've never been this nevous around a girl before. There's just something about you, and I just want to know right now, if you feel the same way.
Corinne turned around to face him, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.Chris, after realizing what was happening put his hands in hers. It was getting dark so they walked back to everyone else. Corinne noticed that Jesse and Lucy were missing.
Corinne- Where are Lucy and Jesse?
Megan- They went for a "walk"
Chris- Oh I see.
Greg- Well, sit down already, we're playing cards.
(Meanwhile with Lucy and Jesse)
Lucy- Awwwww look at the swings, hahaha I haven't been on swings in years!
Jesse- come on, for old times sake.
They both walked over to the swings and got on.
Withen minutes they were swining like little kids again. Jesse stopped, and just started at Lucy, Her brown hair was blowing in the wind and her eyes were full of life.
Lucy- Jesse, what's wrong?
Jesse- Nothing, It's just that, I dunno...
Lucy- What? She said stoping the swing and leaning over near Jesse.
Jesse looked up and came very close to Lucy's face.
Jesse- You're so beautiful. (He said tucking her hair behind her ear and kissing her)
They walked back to where everyone was and they were all packed up.
Jesse- We didn't miss anything did we?
Greg- Nope, but you almost did!
Corinne- Huh?
Chris- Look right over there by the river.
Each guy wrapped his hands around "his girl's" waist and looked out into the horizon.
Minutes later fireworks exploded into the sky. All of the girl's faces lit up as they watched the fireworks.
Megan- How did you guys do this?
Matt- Connections.
Suddenly a large grand finally of heart shaped fireworks exploded in the sky. Each guy kissed "his girl" and they packed up to go home.
The guys drove each of their girls home. Megan was the last one to be dropped off and Matt walked her to her door.
Megan- I had a really good time tonight.
Matt- Me too, oh look! A shooting star. Make a wish!
Megan- What did you wish for?
Matt- This (He said wrapping her in his arms and kissing her)
Megan- Goodnight.
Matt- Goodnight. I'll call you.
Megan- You better.
She said shutting the door behind her and watching Frankies car drive away.
