This cd , by Santa's Boyfriend, was recorded in June 2000 and January and March 2001, and sold only at their shows. When the band signed with MCA, the existing surplus of these cds were sold online through cdbaby.com .

This movie was originally shown on tv as a USA network premiere Oct 16, 2001 as "Wolf Girl". The name was changed, and Wolf Girl was subsequently released on June 25, 2002 as "Blood Moon". It is currently available under that name to rent or buy.

This cd was the Santa's Boyfriend followup to Swings and Roundabouts. It was only sold at a few of their UK shows, and they stopped selling it at shows once they were signed to MCA , as many of the songs on this cd were to be used on their official MCA release.

This 5 song cd sampler is significant as the band's first release through MCA as Fiction Plane. The band signed with MCA during the summer of 2002. They had changed their name to Factory X briefly before being signed, and played a few live shows under this name, but after signing with MCA realized that name was already in use, so the band changed their name again, this time to Fiction Plane. They took the name from one of their earlier songs. The band also dismissed long time drummer Olly Taylor around this time, leaving them without a drummer for some of their gigs and for their first recording with MCA. Their producer, David Kahne, brought in well known drummer Abe Laboriel to play drums on their first release, and although not listed in the credits on the sampler cd, he can be heard drumming here as well.
This cd was being sold at Fiction Plane's shows prior to the March 11.2003 release of their official cd, Everything Will Never Be OK, and was sent out to the press for review.

This is the first official release of Fiction Plane. After the cd was recorded, the band held auditions for a permanent drummer. Pete Wilhoit, a well known drummer from Indiana, drove to NYC and was an instant hit with the band. Although he is not on any of the cds, he is touring with the band, and we all look foward to hearing him on FP's next cd!
