Band Bio

Front Seat Failure is a four piece Christian rock band out of Buffalo, NY. Three of the four members of Front Seat Failure (Jon Dalbo, Charles Dusel, and Philip Dusel) have been making music together in the Buffalo scene for the past five years in various other bands. The band started playing under the name Front Seat Failure in March of 2002 after losing the drummer from their previous band and reforming as a three-piece. The band then added Isaac Chapman in March of 2003 to give the band its current lineup.

The band got its name after trying to resolve issues with a previous band member by leaving a letter on the front seat of his car. The reaction to the letter was anything but good and the band vowed to never deal with a band conflict in this way again. The event soon became known as the “Front Seat Failure” and a new band was born.

Front Seat Failure has just started getting into the music scene but the bands members have had plenty of experience in playing and performing music. The band independently released their first full length album entitled “Will You Be There” in March of 2004 and plans to play numerous shows in promotion of the album. Each band member has very different tastes in music which shows in the bands sound which has been described as a rock/punk hybrid with plenty of guitar riffs, changes in rhythm and catchy hooks.

The bands mission/purpose is to play their music to the best of their abilities in order to glorify God. The band members are passionate about music and passionate about God. Front Seat Failure is a vehicle through which these four young men express these passions.
