Welcome To My Band Page

The purpose of starting this page is simple, to find some decent talent in Buffalo so we can get a real band going, that KICKS ASS! It's hard finding talent in Buffalo, I know. So I'm just basically looking for some cool people to jam with, keep an open mind and work at some real songs, not 3 chord tasteless crap that some bands are pulling, a whole song list and all the songs sound the same.

So I've posted some midi representations of my originals for people to listen too as my originals have a style of they're own and I guess it takes a certain personality to "click" with them. All Originals are COPYRIGHTED to Ben Jackson, so please don't use them without permission. That is illegal and yes I can sue you for it. I don't mean to be harsh, it's just I'm protective about what I write and yes there are people out there that will steal it. But you should get the feel. All songs are written and transcribed by me.

Basically, what I'm looking for is some serious talent, people that have musical conceptual knowledge, experience, and just fuckin wanna rock. Ages 18 to 28 with equipment, transportation and time. I've been playing guitar 10 years, and will be a major part in the song writing. Covers are cool too It gets ya tight as a band with timing and people like to hear stuff they're framiliar with, plus it helps ya learn/incorporate into your own original blah blah blah. So influences and styles include Godsmack, Linkin Park, Metallica, Disturbed, Staind, Goo Goo Dolls, Rage, and other cool ass stuff people wanna hear. No 80's rockers, it was cool in the day but now it's "NU-METAL".

So take a listen, maybe it's for you, maybe it isn't. But I'm not the type with an ego, I'm all into everyones own contribution. But this is an all original project, so if ya think it's cool gimme a ring and you can try out. Looking for a singer with true talent, one of a kind in Buffalo, vocal influences include The dude from Disturbed, Staind, Godsmack. Lookin for a Drummer that can KICK! A 2nd guitarist that actually knows what he's doing and has stage presence and a bassist that can contribute to this style.

The Midis are not complete, in terms of drums, bass and lyrics. But it will be updated as time goes on. And of course the quality is nothing compared to the recorded format. But this should give you a general idea of what and How I write. All midi's are demos and subject to change. Real audio of recorded demos (should I decide to post some, and I probably will) was all recorded and mixed by me, so by all means it's not professional. But it works.
