Joy Division is one of my favorite bands of all time, that is why I decided to take the time and make a website dedicated to the band. I am also a New Order fan, but not as much of a fan as I am of Joy Division, therefore even though this website has a New Order section, most of it is influenced by Joy Division.

Aside from their music, part of my fascination with Joy Division is their story, their past, their origin, and their demise. It is so tragic and yet touching. They made a deal with one another that if any one of its members could no longer be apart of the band that they would no longer call themselves Joy Division, and that is why they are now called New Order. I felt that if I didn't at least mention New Order, then I would not be telling the whole story.
