Lither, formed in March 2000, independently released their debut demo "Perfect Reflections Fade" on June 12, 2001. Although the recording had somewhat of a different feel then today, Lither established their unique sound that fuses emotion, melody, rap, and agressive metal together in one unified sensory assault that appeals to a wide range of listeners.

At the time, Lither consisted of vocalist P∂RIŠ, guitarist (jØn), bassist Marc Sanzari, and drummer P. ÝURKØ. Based out of Fairfield, NJ, members of Lither have shared the stage with Spineshank, and some of the most well known bands in the death metal scene including Krisiun, The Crown, and Arson.
