Seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch TeamDuring year one, Harry finds out that he is a wizard, but not just any wizard, he's different. Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter, were fighters against Lord Voldemort. They defied Lord Voldemort three times. Thus, Lord Voldemort who had hears part of a prophecy that states the baby born to the parents who defied him three times will have greater power than Lord Voldemort will be born at the end of July, kills James and Lily Potter to get to Harry. Lord Voldemort tries to kill Harry, but when he does the killing curse it backfires. Harry is left with a scar and Lord Voldemort is greatly weakened and loses his physical strength. Dumbledore, Hagrid and McGonagall send to live with Lily's sister, the Dursleys. When Harry was growing up, the Dursleys were very mean to him and told him that his parents died in a car crash. Also, they kept his magic ancestry a secret. Finally, Harry learned that he was a wizard when he was 10 years old. Hagrid tells him and precedes to tell *some* of his parent's history. At Hogwarts, Harry meets Ron Weasley. The immediately become friends. However, Hermione Granger is another story. Finally, on Halloween, the trio is formed when both Harry and Ron save Hermione from the troll. Harry becomes the youngest seeker on the Quidditch team. Of course, he is a very good seeker. Also, the trio get into a bit of an adventure. Harry, Ron and Hermione find out about the Sorceror's Stone. The sorceror's Stone contains the exilir of life (meaning that a person can live forever!). Someone wants to get the stone. Harry, Ron, and Hermione go through mazes to reach the sorceror's stone. On the way, Ron gets injured after doing some *big* sacrificing. Hermione stays with Ron and Harry goes on. He finds out that Quirrell was trying to hurt him, not Snape as he had thought. Voldemort is feeding off Quirrell's head. Harry gets the Sorceror's Stone and gets into a fight with Quirrell. Harry is able to defeat Quirrell/Voldemort because of his mother's sacrifice.
Year two is another adventure. This time, everyone thinks Harry is the heir of Slytherin because he talk parseltongue. Eventually, Harry and Ron go into the chamber of secrets. There, Harry fights the basilisk and Hogwarts is safe
Harry at first believes that Sirius Black, his godfather, wants to kill him. However, he eventually finds out that Sirius does not and that Black did not betray his parents, but Wormtongue. Also, in this book, Harry is able to conjure up the powerful Patronus. His patronus is a stag.
Year Four is the Triwizard Tournament. It's a tournament held by Hogwarts. Harry happens to be the fourth contestor. The thing is that there's suppose to be three, not four. Many people are angry and believe that Harry just wants more attention to himself. However, that is not true. Harry gets through the three tasks with the help of many. On the third task, Harry touches the goblet which is a portkey and is sent to a graveyard where he witnesses Lord Voldemort's return and fights with him. Again, Harry escapes narrowly with Cedric's body by touching the portkey.
Year Five, Harry is really angry because he is stuck in the house while Voldemort is free roaming about. This book mainly delves into Harry's emotions. Harry begins to dream about a room and a long corridor...Harry's godfather, Sirius Black, dies while trying to protect Harry. Dumbledore reveals all to Harry about the prophecy.

Yes, certainly. I don't really know in what shape it appears but I think it's something stronger than us.
I think everyone has a dark side, really, and however much you like showing or are afraid of showing, everybody has it. So I think it was great to be able to show Harry's dark side, and it was great to be able to show that he's not flawless, and he's not the perfect person.
