Carry On Dancing - Dreaming

The little four-year-old girl sat on the couch waiting for her mother to get home. Her mom always came home drunk and with some guy. The poor girl didn’t understand what was wrong with her mom and why she was always so mean to her. She’d been thinking about it so much that she hadn’t heard the car door slam and her mother come in the door with some guy all over her.

“Madison! You little bitch I thought I told you to stay in your room!” Her mother yelled before grabbing her arm and throwing her on the floor.

“I’m sorry Mommy.” Little Madison cried.

“Oh God you brat! Go to your room!” Her mom commanded harshly. The crying girl quickly rushed to her room and shut the door behind her then throwing her self on the bed. It was a little while later when her door opened and the guy her mom had brought home came stumbling in. She tried to cower away in the corner of her bed but it didn’t work. The guy pinned her down and got her cloths off before he passed out pinning her under him. She cried all night. The sun was just barely over the horizon when her door opened again. This time it was her mother. The site before her enraged her.

“You whore!” She yelled. About that time the guy woke up and stood up.

“Get the hell out of my house.” She yelled at him. He quickly went out the door and drove away. “You too!” She yelled pointing at the girl. “I won’t have a whore for a daughter!” She yelled. She grabbed the girl by the arm and pulled her out of the bed. The little girl quickly grabbed a blanket dragging it behind her as her mother drug her through the house. Once they got to the front door her mother opened it then shoved the little girl out on the porch shutting the door behind her. Crying she quickly got up wrapping the blanket around her and walked to the curb then sat down.

“Maddie, Maddie.” She heard somebody softly say. She looked up to see the neighbor boys Brian and Harry Littrell there. “Maddie, Maddie, wake up. Come on baby wake up.”

The girl suddenly jolted up screaming. She had sweat pouring down her body and her cheeks were wet from crying.

“Madison it’s ok I’m here.” Nick Carter said pulling his girlfriend into his arms.

“Oh god Nicky it was terrible.” Madison James whispered holding her boyfriend tight as if she let go she’d be lost forever. Nick continued to calm her down and soothe her whispering in her ear that’d it be ok and he’d never let anybody hurt her again. She had once again dreamed about that day. That terrible day. It was also the day that the Littrell’s took her in. The cops had gotten there after Madison had told Jackie who she now calls mom what had happened. They went next door to arrest her mother for child abuse among other things but they had found her dead. She had overdosed on a bunch of sleeping pills. The Littrell’s didn’t want to have to put her in a foster home so they adopted her. She was now 19 and a dancer for the Backstreet Boys and Nick’s girlfriend. Madison slowly fell asleep against Nick. Nick sighed feeling bad because he couldn’t stop the nightmares that came sometimes. He slowly laid back down still holding Madison tightly to him. After making sure Madison was ok and was still asleep he fell back into a light sleep.
