CHAP11

Lance, Kady, and Caitlyn arranged Jenn’s birthday party……All Jenn’s friends were their, Ghadir, Katie, Rena, Ashley, Jessica, Brittany and even Jenn’s friend Marie who she hasn’t seen since she was 8 Marie is now dating J.C. so that is how they all found out she knew Jenn. Oh and Jenn’s parents too (and her annoying 3 little sisters who were all over Lance) Jenn loved the party she was so happy, she was sitting by the punch bowl talking to Marie when Lance approached her.

“You like the party.” He said having that you better thank me look in his eye.

“Thanks, Lance I owe you” Jenn said smiling

“How about Later.” Lance winks; nudging Jenn

“You better watch it my parents are here.” Jenn said laughing

“Hey they like me, I got them from the airport.” Lance says

“Yeah uh-huh”

“So are you going to tell them about Frankie?” Lance said knowing Jenn wont

“No…..my dad would kill him.” Jenn says looking into her cup

“Jenn” Ashley says running towards her

Jenn looks up from her cup and runs towards Ashley: “ASHLEY”

“JENN” Ghadir shouts from behind Ashley

“GHADIR” Jenn shouts

“JENN” Brittany shouts behind Ghadir

“BRITTANY” Jenn shouts

“JENN” Chris shouts behind Brittany

“CHRIS……ok lets stop now…..oh my god guys I cant believe you are here.” Jenn says smiling

“Yeah nether can we….what happened Jenn? Ghadir said pointing to Jenn’s cut on her head.

“Yeah it looks pretty bad.” Ashley added

“Oh…I just….fell and hit my head” Jenn said thinking of a good excuse

“Oh I’m sorry” Brittany said knowing Jenn was not telling the truth

“Yeah me too” Jenn said looking at the ground

“So what is up with you and Lance?” Ghadir says nudging Jenn.

“Nothing” Jen says looking up

“Oh come on” Marie says laughing.

“Jenn he like loves you…who do you think put this whole party together and invited us and flew us here?” Ghadir says trying to make a point

“I still don’t thin she is going to get Lance” Jessica says crossing her arms

Brittany slaps Jessica in the back of her head” Are you crazy”

“Oowww Why?” Jessica says rubbing the back of her head

“She already got him” Marie laughed

“You people are nuts” Jessica said rolling her eyes

“She is just mad that Rory wont go out with her” Ghadir whispers to Jenn

“Oh” Jenn whispers back

“So what are we talking about over here?” Caitlyn says coming over

*BANG…BANG…BANG…BANG*

“AHHHHHHH” Kady screams

“Hey all my party people!!” Rory says coming in with an eye patch on his right eye and a suitcase in his left hand.

“Hey sexy Rory.” Jessica winks

“Who invited him?” Kady said taking a long drink of whatever the hell she was drinking

“I didn’t” Caitlyn shook her head

“Do you think I would not find out…..psh me and my iMAC flew here …..my iMAC gave me a discount.” Rory smirked

“He still is hung up on the iMAC?” Jenn sighed

“Yeah and Jessica still wants to destroy them” Brittany laughed.

“Yeah Lance come over here , we have got to discuss some terms on blowing up the tower of terror in Disney World it is a long process but I think it can be easily done.” Rory said pulling out a chair for Lance to sit in.

“Uh……” Rory sits Lance in a chair and he fixes his eye patch so it is now covering his left eye.

“I gotta listen to this!” Chris said as him and the whole party gathers around the table where Rory and Lance are.

Jenn felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned around

“Oh Frankie Hi” Jenn said hoping Frankie would not start to yell start a scene.

“Can I talk to you for a minute…I’m not invited to the party do I’ll leave I just want to tell you something.” Frankie said grabbing Jenn’s hand.

“Ok…do you want to step outside?” Jenn said not sure of what to say

Frankie nods his head and they go outside and sit on a swing.

“Jenn I’m sorry for everything I was so stupid I cant stand to be away from you and I just realized that, I need you…its not much but here is something to sow my love for you.” Frankie says as he pulls out a large rectangular jewelry box.

“Baby, I don't know why you treat me so bad

“Oh Frankie it is beautiful” Jenn says looking at the diamond necklace before her

“Just like you….can I put it on you?”

“Yeah” Jenn says as she pulls her brown hair back: “Frankie this must have cost you a fortune.”

“Don’t worry……look if you turn the heart around I inscribed it for us.” Frankie said turning the necklace around.

“Jennifer and Frankie Forever” Jenn reads aloud as tears flow into her eyes…..what was she going to do.

Lance looks out the window to see Jenn crying and Frankie hugging her…Lance knew this did not look good so he gets up almost immediately out of his chair and heads for the door.

“Lance” Kady said trying to stop him

“Yeah” Lance said stopping at the door

“Here is the ring” Kady says giving lance a little black box.

“Oh...thanks” He says as he shoves it in his pocket and walks out of the beach house.

Frankie kisses Jenn “ I got to go finish some voice-overs for the movie” he says while putting his sunglasses on. “I love you”

“Yeah…me too.” Jenn says looking down at the ground.

Jenn watches Frankie get in his car Frankie loves her….and she loves him…..but why is she still hurting? She sighs to herself to be strong

“Be strong for what? Lance says putting his ands on Jenn’s waist.

“Oh you scared me….oh nothing” Jenn says closesing her eyes…..why did she always have to think outloud.

“Ok” Lance says as he leans down to kiss her but Jenn moves forward.

“Lets sit on the beach” Jenn suggest

“Ok”

Jenn takes her sandals off: “I’ll races you” She says while running down the hill to the beach.

“Hey that’s not fair” Lance says as he takes off his show and his socks: “I still have shoes and stuff on that is cheating” he says as he runs

“Not when you race with me” Jenn smiles back

Jenn runs and sits down right where the waves come and crash at her feet. Lance sat down next to her and held her in his arms.

“I have to tell you something” Lance said thinking this was a better time then any.

“Wait….can I go first” Jenn said knowing that she better say what she has to say first so Lance could think it over.

“Yeah” Lance says putting the box behind him so Jenn could not see.

“Lance you’re my best friend…..this whole thing with us kissing and stuff….I think it was all just a silly mistake.” Jenn says trying to sound the least bit reasonable.

“I don’t” Lance mumbles

“Lance…I’m dating Frankie..” Jenn starts

“Why?” Lance says laying back

“Because he is better now he said he wont do it again and he was sorry….and I ….I love him.”

Lance put the box back inside his pocket. His heart was just ripped in half….how come the girl he loves…wont love him back? “ Your serious aren’t you?” that is all Lance could say. He hoped she was joking….he did not hope he wished she was.

“Lance I am serious…If this upsets you don’t let it…..things will work out over time” Jenn says trying to make Lance understand.

Lance sighed

“Friends Forever?” Jenn says as she puts out her hand.
