The following is samples of newsletters that I (Sierra) have written about our world....They are designed after the ones that used to be sent to the members of the Backstreet Fun Club, but that is no longer active....I will be updating (every so often) and putting a new one on here....Well, here is the one for "JANUARY-FEBRUARY 2000".....
A Newsletter for the Fans
January – February 2000
Hello World! Brian and Sierra Littrell welcomed their second child, a daughter named Alexandra Nicole, into the world on December 25th, 1999 (Christmas Day). She was born in Brian and Kevin's hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. Both mom and daughter were allowed to return home two days later, where they were greeted by the couple's soon to be 3-year old son, Devon Littrell.
Kevin Richardson announced early last month (December 4th) that he and his wife, Casandra, were getting a divorce for an unknown circumstance. The divorce was finalized on the 17th of December leaving the two of them to decide on a later date for the custody hearing for their two sons, Tyler Scott (age 2), and Jerald James (age 2 months).
The Boys have once again sued Transcontinental mogul, Lou Phearlman. The Boys are accusing him of repeatedly violating the California Talent Agreement Act by functioning as both the group's manager and its unlicensed talent agent.
This past month at the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando, AJ McLean introduced his alter ego, Johnny No-Name, who performed during a benefit for the VH1's foundation, "Save the Music". The foundation supports and helps bring liberal arts back to schools, where the chorus, drama, band, and other liberal arts programs have been removed.
The Boys also dominated last month's 1999 Billboard Music Awards, winning in four categories: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Albums Artist of the Year, and Albums Artist Duo/Group of the Year. But what was with Nick Carter's hair? Electric Shock! Well, congrats to the boys. We hope that you win many more.

The Backstreet Boys have answered the age-old question – Boxers or Briefs?? – during their recent photo shoot for the cover of Rolling Stones Magazine. Kevin Richardson commented to our newsletter that the guys just wanted to be serious for once, but also give a little humor to the article. "We've been tugged from shoot to shoot. So, this time we decided to give the fans all that we could," Richardson commented during the photo shoot. The magazine that features a 6-page article on the Boys and the infamous cover photo will be available during the month of February on shelves wherever the magazine is sold.

This past month, Burger King, home of the famous Whopper, announced an exclusive promotion with the Boys and title sponsorship for the group's 2000 fall tour for their album. The Boys' latest album, Millennium, nearly 8 months after its release, is still on the top of the Billboard Charts. The Boys also have decided with Burger King to bring out an exclusive 3-CD set of songs sung during their Millennium tour, which will include a new song from their up-coming album, yet to be named.

The Backstreet Boys have teamed up with cartoonist and comic book writer, Stan Lee, to create a new comic book and web-based series, called The Backstreet Project. The Backstreet Project features the five Boys as super heroes, who were given powers from an alien to save her planet and the Earth from destruction. The Boys' power range from super-strength to being able to jump really high to even being an expert marksman. The Boys have also decided to work with their tour promoters, Burger King, and sell a set of figurines, which feature the Boys in their super-hero forms. A special behind-the-scenes knowledge was told to our newsletter that Nick Carter, himself, was the one to come up with the idea and is the original artist for the Boys' characters.
