Here's a story--For instance--there was once a story I heard about a Pit Bull tied up in its back yard. A little girl (I think only about 2 years old) some how, without her parents' supervision, walked into the yard of the dog--and was torn apart--sad huh? In a case like that EVERYBODY hates that dog ITS A PIT BULL! ---What people don't realize is that the PIT BULL doesn't get that mean on its own!! Yes that Pit Bull should definently be put to sleep, as it's already highly visious,--but no you can't blame this brutal tragedy on the dog! We humans are the controllers here on Earth--It is our responsibility to treat our domisicated pets with respect, love, and care.*AMEN!* In this case, the dog is NOT the killer here, What do you think happened--WHO do you think MADE this dog the way it turned out the way it is? A natural fact is that your pets individual personalitie's are all different; but the way the act reflects on the way it's treated by the owner!What a lot of people don't realize, in a case like this, that little girl and her family weren't the only victims. Think about how that Pit Bull was treated to make it so vicious. It's just like that of a hunting or sled dog. The person has to "train" it. Except in this cruel crime of dog fighting, it's not just training that takes place on the dogs---It's force and torture. IT'S A SAD REALITY! iF YOU SUSPECT SOMEONE IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD OF ABUSING A PIT BULL, OR ANY ANIMAL FOR THAT MATTER, TAKE IT TO THE COPS. iF THEY FIND EVIDENCE OF DOG FIGHTING, YOU'D BE REWARDED *bIG*! ---Not to mention you'd be saving and rescuing the lives of these poor dogs--maybe even people's too. The truth is, it takes a MEAN PERSON TO MAKE A MEAN DOG! Innocent, pets just like yours at home are killed everyday in animals because there is just not enough for them all. That's a sad reality, but to do your part spay&neuter your pet because the petoverpopulation is EVERY pet owner's responsibility! Please visit the Des Moine County Humane Society in Burlington, Iowa. There is plenty of great homeless pets in need there! The shelter isn't officially know as a "kill" shelter--but sometimes they're just really full and desperate for homes! Like I said there's some really great pets there in need of a home. AND please remember- you can't judge a dog's personality on its breed! Obviously, if a dogs standing up in the kennel licking you to death and banging its tail against the wall its a friendly dog, duh?!
