thursday, september 4th in san angelo . . . get ready for bros, ho's, and clean clothes . . . we're due to play the scrub pub in the next couple of weeks, soon as brosky sam gets our fuckin money! stay tuned cause a couple days later we're going back to sweet T to play at the ramada inn bar

aug 23rd in san antonio . . . friend of ours secret bday party, shhhhh!

may 17th in LA VERNIA. its the bluebonnet fest and we're playing in the dairy queen parking lot for charity . . . no, not the morningwood foundation, we're accepting donations to benefet the Children's Miracle Network. Three mighty LV bands will represent; Sumo Circle, Skuft, and of course, yours truly. should be fun and stuff, so stay tuned!

party peeps mw needs your help. you're probably wondering where we've been with the shows and all. the awful truth is our beloved drummer, matthew montoya, was hit by a car and died and now we need a new one. spread your legs or spread the word, and get us back on stage soon!

march 7th, 8th, 9th . . . if we have any dallas peeps, listen up! we're booked for friday and saturday the first weekend of march to play the rattlesnake round up in sweet water texas. guarranteed to be a bad ass show. possibly featuring fellow acts such as blind alley, sumo circle?, skuft?, and more. this will be a massive massive drunken fun time and i hope ur not stupid enough to miss out.

feb22 @ wings'n'ribs . . . coolest gig ever! i need to put the shows up here before we play them. that way, this thing reads less like a diary. of course, it would be nice to know about a show more than a few days ahead of time. it would also be nice to get paid. this was sumo circles first show and they did fucking fabulous. it was skufts second show and they kicked our asses totally. lots of love to both of these lv bands!

feb 13? white rabbit. well, after the nutfest, we came back and did a show, for the first time, without matt as a member of the band. we played with our new band buddies and old friends, skuft!

oct 12 morningwood triumphantly returns to the peanut festival in floresville. attendees will get to listen to great music, play games, and may even win a live duck!

oct 13th, morningwood travels all the way to floresville for the annual peanut festival. we will be playing on the steps of the courthouse wearing bright orange inmate jumpsuits at 6 pm

our next gig will be in good old la vernia on friday oct 5 at the newly opened "brass monkey," formerly known as kim's tavern. we plan to do some new stuff with our show, including a few cover songs
