UNC Concert (Febuaray 2001)
This is when it all started.
My friend Linsey wanted me to go see a band with her at UNC. Lucky me, I had the day off so I went and dragged Rochelle along with me. The band was pretty good, okay actually, they rocked! The drummer didn't wear shoes, the lead singer had a way cool hat, the lead guitarist had amazing Dr. Marten with flames, and the spectacular bassist had superb hair! Rochelle and I both got drum sticks that the drummer had broken, we even got those sticks signed by the drummer who's name we learned was Ben. Rochelle and I decided that we needed to talk to each member of the band. We told Ben, after he signed our sticks, that he had impressive posture. When we talked to Sven, we commented on his great green hat. We wanted to feel it because it looked like very comfortable sock material. Sven then preceded to tell us a story about how it was a cover for his grandmother's arm of a couch. Don't worry, it wasn't true. Then, we commented about John's, the lead guitarist, shoes. He thanked us for coming to the show and he was glad that we like it. Matt, the magnifcant bassist heard us talk about the shoes and he looked around the room with us to count how many people had tennis shoes or snadals and so on. It was a great show!
