I knew it would only take a special occasion to convince me I should update this page a bit. First of all, I apologise greatly for the inconveniene of the pop-up [hint: if you keep it minimized, it won't hurt you]. Second, if there's anyone out there that would offer to host this page, please let me know. Angelfire is cruel and I'd really love to move this site on to a pop-up free domain.

A "Breed" album [including a cover image] was added to the Discography section. This production [in 12" form] was strictly limited to about 3500 copies.

Also changed the "Heaven In A Tourniquet"'s URL on the Links section to the new one at "My Rage" - a very well designed page with many features.

Due to my lazy demeanor, this site has had a lack of updates for the past few months. I apologise greatly. A few things have been updated and added as of today:

Placebo are featured inside the Nov. 17-23 issue of Melody Maker, where each member are interviewed. I have transcribed Steve's Q&A's in the interviews sections.

Placebo have recently recorded a new version of Burger Queen, with vocals in French. This was released in France on the 22nd of November. The single can be purchased online at www.hmv.co.uk - no word as of yet whether the single will be released anywhere else.

Placebo have been forced to cancel performances at this weekends V99 Festival in Chelmsford & Leeds due to Brian's tonsilitis. More details at www.placebo.co.uk (latest news).

Placebo's next single Without You I'm Nothing, is released today, Monday August 16th. Featuring David Bowie, this limited edition single (20,000 copies) has a gatefold featuring a link the the band's website. The single was produced by Steve Osborne and also features mixes from UNKLE, Brothers in Rhythm & Americruiser.

Placebo will be performing 2 dates at this year's V99 in England. August 21 in Chelmsford and August 22 in Stafford.

Velvet Goldmine, starring Jonathon Rhys Meyers, Ewan McGregor, Christian Bale, and Placebo is now available on VHS format.
