The introduction was a dance number with the contestants wearing aerobic wear, dancing, and introducing themselves.

She went on to become Miss Teen Tourism Canada(she was only 18 when she competed) and represented Canada at the Miss Teen Torism World pageant where she placed sixth.

First Runner-Up

Miss Otttawa, Ontario, Mireille Eid

She competed once again the next year and won and is sheduled to compete in the 1999 Miss World pageant on December 4th.

Miss Stoney Creek, Ontario, Leanne Baird won the title of Miss Canada and represented our country in the Miss World 1998 pageant.
