Hidden Falls
This may be the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. There is a LONG set of stairs to descend, and oh yes ascend. Nice little picnic area at the falls, with inner tubes available for non swimmers. At the top is a very pretty little restaurant.
Hidden Falls Zoo
At the top of the stairs to the waterfalls, and beside the pretty restaurant, is a small zoo. Story is that the Russian circus visited Iligan, and the animals got loose and ran away. A local entrepreneur caught the animals and after the circus left town, made himself a zoo. While I neglected to get any good pictures of the tigers etc., this is a photo of the garden area.
Richard On Super Ferry
This is the Super Ferry from Manila, Luzon Island, to Ozamiz, Mindanao Island, Philippines. We had a private airconditioned 1rst Class room. It had private shower and bath, balcony, continuous lazer disc movies, and was beside the first class dining room. The cost, including meals, at that time was about $65 Canadian per person. The trip took about 24 hours and was like a mini cruise.
