Welcome to the Pokémon section of Mystical RPGs,in this section i'd like to clear up some of the bad rep that Pokémon has.First Pokémon is a fairly challenging RPG.Second the game it's self is'nt aimed for the younger crowds, as for the young children that like the game..Most have'nt even made it past the second town the whole time they've played it;They just like it because Pokémon are cute and most young kids don't play the game but collect the toys and watch the T.V show.As for those out there that did'nt know Pokémon is a RPG..It is.You are a young boy named Ash that travels along to see and catch every Pokémon there is to complete a study conducted by Professor Oak.Along the way you run into huge amounts of battles,mini games,towns,people and Pokémon.with turn based mode fighting and tradition enemy encounters(traditional RPG).If you have no clue what Pokémon are i'll explain...They are basically different specis of animals in the "Pokémon" world..In Depth: The word "Poké" comes from the japanease word meaning:"Pocket" and as for the word "mon" that comes from the japanease word meaning:"Monster".All in all Pokémon means Pocket Monsters in japan.( where it originated.)
Tips...
In the beginning of the game it's easest to pick Squirtle so if your not to good at RPGs you won't die on the first trainer.Just keep using water attacks because all of the first trainer's Pokémon are rock Pokémon and water is rock's weakness.When you fight your enemy gary(or what ever you named him)for the first time keep using your strongest attack,most likely you'll win but if you don't...it dose'nt affect the game in no way.
How to copy Pokemon
Let's say your friend has captured Articuno, but you missed
out. First, get a weak, easy to find, Pokémon. Set up a trade
with the game link. When the "Waiting" message appears, your
friend should turn off his or her Game Boy. Then, turn off
your Game Boy. Turn them back on and you will both have
Articuno, but the weak, easy to find Pokémon, will be gone.How to get 199 of an item
first of all you'll have to be able to use fly and swim.Go to virdain city and talk to the little bald man at the entrance of to the forest and he'll ask if you are busy say "No" then he'll show you how to catch a Pokémon then fly to cinnabar island.Now take the item you want 199 of and put it in the 6th slot of your item menu know surf around the coast till you find a Pokémon named Missingno. or ( a fuzzy letter)'M'(a fuzzy letter).DO NOT CATCH IT
