SWC Back Story and Founder's Message

It all began on Saturday, October 24th 1998, while I, Paris_Angel was on the Official Buffy Posting Board. I was just thinking about starting a club (acutally the idea came to me while I was sleeping the night before); and then I thought about how there are/were so many witches on Buffy right at this moment. Willow, of course, Amy, Jenny, Catherine Madison, Ethan, and even Giles who abused some magical powers a long time ago. So I thought...this could be a good idea...and so I started it up, and that's how we got here!!! And don't worry about the idea of being a "witch" it's all for fun...really....i'm actually a christian...so if you're jewish, buddhist, hindu, muslim, or any other religion, even if you really are wiccan...we don't care at the SWC, we just want you to be a part of this growing club that saluts the way Joss has written the idea of witchcraft in this show!!!
