Young rockers Serial Joe have been booked at the Woodstock '99 festival, joining such big-time Canadian acts as Big Sugar and The Tragically Hip at the event. The story is that Woodstock organizer Deborah Rathwell, Vice-President of Metropolitan Entertainment in New York, noticed the tremendous reaction that Serial Joe are receiving from radio stations, video networks, and in record stores throughout North America, and thought that they had to be included on the bill. The Joe will play a short set at 5:00pm on Saturday July 24, on the Emerging Act stage in Rome, NY. "It should be amazing," says SJ singer Ryan Dennis. "We're really excited about it. A lot of bands on the bill are my idols: Rage Against The Machine, Korn, Our Lady Peace."
