You wearily enter the Old Boar. A sign in the entryway says that you should go to the bar to arrange lodging.

You order a stiff drink and down it before going to your room.

The room is a little worn and shabby, but clean and comfortable. You drop your things on the floor with a sigh, and settle down for some sleep.

In the morning, you go downstairs and order breakfast. The place is all agog with news of a fire last night at the Dun Cow. You shudder at the thought that you might have gone there last night instead of where you did go.

Feeling lucky to have escaped the fire, you decide that you will stay on here for just a few more days, and then head on to the

ruined castle.
