Keith,
Do you know if the Backstreet Boys are planning to record another CD soon? Also, do you know why is "The One" doing poorly on the charts? It seems to be a popular song.

The Backstreet Boys are aiming to head back into the studio shortly to record their third U.S. effort. Originally, the album was slated to be released in October, but considering the boys have yet to begin recording, the set may be delayed. The group's last disc, "Millennium," is at No. 46 this week and has sold 11 million units in the U.S., according to SoundScan.
"The One" is actually doing pretty well on The Billboard Hot 100. The track peaked at No. 30 on July 1. Granted, that placing doesn't make it sound like a huge hit, but you have to remember that this is the fourth track that Jive has worked from the album. Usually, it's tough to pull more than two or three hits from an album, so seeing "The One" get this high is actually unusual.
Additionally, since there was no commercial single for "The One" in stores, it was charting solely on airplay points, thus making it more difficult for it climb the chart.
The first three radio singles from "Millennium" all reached the top 30: "I Want It That Way" (No. 6), "Larger Than Life" (No. 25), and "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" (No. 6).
