You started out in BSB when you were 14. How have you changed?
I haven't had to change but I have changed, just like anyone would. Being in the band may have changed me a little but faster. You just have to get a grip and make sure you can keep in touch with reality. I'm a very carefree preson, I like to be a kid- I'm not going to be a grown up until I'm 21 and I might not even do it then. I just don't like responsibility.
Are you still seeing your girlfriend?
I'm dating but I've told you that before, and I don't want anyone to know any more. IT's not about hiding her away, it's just that I don't want anybody to know quiet yet- for her or for me. It's not about trying to make sure the fans aren't upset, it's more about keeping a part of your life taht nobody knows about because that's probably the only thing that's private.
But people will be upset to hear you're qwith someone....
I realise that. I knew there would be pressure when I came into this job, but if the afns really love us the way they say they do then they'll support us in whatever we do- physically, mentally and with their hearts.
WHat's thw worst thing you've heard about yourself?
I went out once and there were these girls talking about how fat I was! I was like, ' Wait a minute, just because I've got a stomach and I don't want to be like all those other boy bands and work out all the times...." That's not me, i don't try and do something in order to make people happy. and I guess it has worked because I haven't had to change myself.
Do you think it's harder for you to cope with all this attention because you're the most popular BSB?
I don't think it really matters to me. It mattered more to me when I was younger, but i do love the attention if taht's what you mean.
Do you miss not having your mum and dad on the road with you like you did before you were 18?
Until recently I ahd totally forgotten that they did come out with me like that. it's been this way for a while. iy definitely brought abit of normality into my life, but now they know I'm old enough to take care of myself.
Do you ever feel upset that you missed out on a normal school life?
There's a lot of stuff I've missed out on, but it had to be that kind of life. I missed out on the everyday social life, the normality of being a teenager in school, the sports activities and things like that.
Do you think that the same will happen to Aaron as well?
I worry about my brother because it's a really hard business. We have to take a lot of pressure and it takes its toll. people tend to llok at us and say that we are perfect - we're not. What a, I to think when someone Aaron's age comes into the business?
Would you rather he wasn't involved in showbusiness?
I would rather he didn't get involved in this but it's his life, it's not up to me.
Do you have a lot of friends outside the band?
I ahve a couple of good friends, but it's hard to meet new people wjen you're in the band because you acn't really trust everybody. I can tell when someone is being fake with me- although I've also got a lot of good people around me.
